Equus 2012
While we have enjoyed this car, we financially could not have kept it had it not been for the good warranty and good service from Jim Ellis Hyundai in Atlanta. Because 2012 was a relatively new model, it seems the bugs had not been ironed out. As I said, we are very thankful the warranty allowed us to keep what would have been very expensive repairs and replacements. As the warranty ran out, we purchased a new warranty. This was just in time to replace another very expensive part. We will keep the car because we like it very much, the major parts have been replaced, and the mileage is relatively low. Please understand that the service has been a major reason for keeping the car as well.
It is my understanding the Equus is not being made for 2017. I feel sure it is being replaced by a much improved one under a new name. I hope the new vehicle is a combination of much improved parts and the beautiful design of the 2012 Equus. I would recommend the "new" 2017 vehicle with the needed improvements. To this day, we get compliments everywhere we go.
