Traded in my sonata for the elantra. Have put plenty of miles on it already. Have drove uber in it has not disappointed me in space and comfort. Would recommend it to others and is solid on mpg.

Overall, I really like the vehicle and it drives well. The car looks great, feels comfortable, and seems reliable. It has many features that I enjoy, and it would meet most of my daily driving needs. However, there are a few downsides to consider. The car does not come with heated seats or a heated steering wheel, which would have been nice for colder weather. It also does not include BlueLink, which means I would not have access to remote features through the app. In addition, the vehicle does not have the auto hold feature, which can be helpful when stopped in traffic or at long lights. While these features are not deal breakers, they are small conveniences that I would have liked the car to include. Overall, I still like the car, but these are a few cons to keep in mind.

Need a good first car? Get the Elantra. Decent MPG, enough room to move about a bedroom's worth of items, and beautiful stereo system for solo rides or trips with friends (though whoever sits in the front passenger seat might be too busy grabbing at the awkwardly available handle bar...)

The car is good, gets you from point A-B. Lots of money for the car tho. My passenger window only works when it wants to and the column in the middle the looks like a handle is pointless and annoying.

Great Car

I haven't had any problems with this car. It is reliable and does well, as far as gas mileage, both around town and on the highway. This car has a lot of safety features that have actually saved me from a crash a few times. I would definitely recommend this car.

The Premier Family Sedan

Coming from a 2024 Subaru WRX, the 2025 Hyundai Elantra was a very pleasant experience. Smoother ride although slower, the fuel economy is great. Steering feels miles better than other sedans in this price range such as the Chevy Malibu, which feels like driving a large ship.

didn’t like it

it feels very cheap like the plastic in the car veey easily moves just by using my hands. The car does not take potholes very well at all and feels like there are no shocks whatsoever.

Having driven this car only locally so far, the following observations are made: Car rides well and drive train shifts smoothly. Engine is not noisy and car responds and steers efficiently. Heating/cooling system is comfortable and electronic utilities to assist driving, safer, is outstanding. Elantra 2025 is attractive in style and finish. The interior is comfortable except in entry and exiting, especially driver side, from inadequate headroom clearance. Owner's manual can be helpful by being more model-specific. However, dealership was very helpful by further arranging meeting and explaining the operations of various equipment.

My 2025 Elantra

I love my ELANTRA! I love the intense blue color. I love how it drives. While I don’t have every bell and whistle on it, I do have some bells and whistles which I thoroughly enjoy. For the amount of driving, I do, the basic ELANTRA serves all my needs.

Hyundai Elantra Sport 2025

Please bring back the navigation (not apple or android phone connections) on the lower end models like it is on the 2024 SE. Some of us like having it integrated and not use our phones. Also, having the compass available and the larger speed limit signs on the large screen on the right is much nicer in my 2024 Elantra SE. I do not need glasses to drive but I cannot see the speed limit on the dashboard, it is too small. Please make it so we can turn off those alerts for checking the back seat and cup of coffee. I have no children any more, and I will take responsibility if I leave my lunch behind the driver's seat or in the trunk, I am an adult, make it my option to take responsibility for my actions. When I am dodging that large armadillo in the road the last thing I need is to try to figure out why my car is dinging at me an telling me to get coffee. I also do not need to hear a random distracting beep when I drive under a tree in the middle of the day with the car telling me to turn on my headlights. Sometimes less is more, or at least the option to pick and choose what is important to me and what is a distraction. One other thing I would do on both cars is make the center brake light lower so one can see over it better in the rearview mirror. In order to get in without smashing my head, I need the seat lower down. This make it harder to see over that obstruction in the window (the brake light). I know this is not a simple thing but in any body redesign the height of the trunk/rear window could be re-examined. Front seats could be a little flatter at the edges for us bigger folks so if we overhang a little it would not hurt. Other than that. I enjoy both cars.
