Never buy a Hyundai

Never buy a Hyundai. Poor quality motor. Burns oil. Paint peeling off. Save yourself the trouble with Hyundai. Look like you get bang for your buck. But in the end it’s a waste of money junk junk junk

Good Vehicle

I've had this vehicle for about a year now, and it runs great. I haven't had any major issues with it despite its mileage being around 126,000, so it's been good. I don't really have any major criticisms I can think of other than I don't like the white interior but that is more of an aesthetic issue.

Engine blew at 60,990 miles

My car starting making a ticking noise out of the blue, and a few minutes later it stalled. It started right back up so I gave it another go, the ticking became more of a knocking and stalled again. The engine is blown and will cost $8,500 to replace.

My second Hyundai Elantra

Loved my first Elantra, had it for 10 years. It still ran great, looked like new, but lost it when I was hit on passenger side when repairs that were more than car was worth. My second Elantra is living up to the first. Great car!!

Not well made

I’ve purchased 2017 ,Hyundai Elantra for my wife. Vehicle was running well for 3 years. However, it started to have problems, such as a starter, ignition come, and Cam/ Crank sensors ( have service records) I had to fix above problems with in last 2-3 years. Should paid a little ore for Honda, Civic which I’ve driven 2004 Civic for 280,000 miles before selling it.

Worst purchase ever!

The exterior paint peels off in huge chunks all the way to the metal frame. Had fixed once.. 9 months later it was peeling off again. Terrible quality lemon for sure issues with spark plugs electrical keyless entry was unable to open my driver side door with remote or button and manual unlock set off alarm that wouldn’t shut off until I climbed over to start the car. So disappointed I spent the money on a new car that continues to fall apart way before it ever should have

Love the vehicle-not the paint quality

Vehicle is great; milage, comfort, etc. but very poor paint quality, both my Hyundais have peeling paint, one is almost 1/4 peeled off all by its self; the other is starting to peel. Never have I had a factory paint just peel off in its own. Would I buy another Hyundai? No.

Great car. Just went out west getting an average 40 mpg. At 56,000 it has started using oil. Never a drop until this trip. Drive a 1,000 miles, no use. Next 1,000, almost a quart. Strange. Used 2-1/2 quarts total. Told the service department and was told this was acceptable.??? Next issue is the seats. My wife hav a 2011 same model. Her seats are comfortable but on long trips the 2017 lack comfort. It is a low end car but I wish we could swap seats. Overall, no real complaints. Love the mileage.

Excellent car for doing errands around town as well as day trips of a longer nature. I love the sunroof & the smartkey function. It is also excellent on gas usage, so important these days. Handles nicely in inclement weather such as sudden monsoon downpours. It got me through a sudden flooded section of roadway where most cars had gotten stalled.

Nice family sedan

Nice comfortable car good on gas and good looking has nice interior and nice style wheels comfortable specially for big guys engine and transmission are 100% steering nice and tight specially on sports mode

I love this car lots of options for the money

I love what Hyundai has done with this car the design of the body and the performance is great currently having some issues with the car but I have faith in Hyundai and the service team this will get resolved soon

My 2017 ELANTRA

This car I drove almost 200 miles to shop. I looked at several Hyundais and decided on this one based on overall appearance and comfort as well as safety features. I liked how quiet the cabin was when driving at highway speeds..so easy to enjoy a conversation. The passenger compartment was very comfortable with space enough for rear seat passengers not to be cramped. Great gas mileage and very smooth comfortable ride. I am disillusioned and dissatisfied that the paint has begun to flake and even though I otherwise really like this car this would seriously deter me in considering the purchase of another Hyundai since I have researched and found that Hyundai is aware.of the paint defect and has not repaired the numerous vehicles affected. I have never had a car with 30 thousand miles on it and not paid off yet that has had any loss of paint. I find that a very serious and unacceptable problem.

Great vehicle! Super reliable!

My Elantra has been a great car. And I owned a 2012 Elantra, that I drove for 5 years before I bought the 2017 Elantra. The car is super reliable and gets great gas mileage as well. The only warranty issue that I can remember, is that the coil packs needed to be replaced.

The vehicle is a nice car,it get good mileage.

It is a nice car, I have been please with it until a few months ago. It kept on over heating.I have had minor work done on my car. but all and all it's a nice car. I would purchase another one maybe in the near future.
