Poor worksmanship

Started off good love it. Gas mileage wasn’t the rated 50-55mpg, the air conditioner broke down d/t faulty radiator. The door stopped opening or locking. Made lots of trips to the dealer now I know why you offer extended warranty.

A tech heavy commuter

I drive this Elantra hybrid limited 100 miles a day to work. I appreciate the driving assistance tech. The commute is much less fatiguing. I don't appreciate they removed features from the hybrid limited that the gas limited has. The cabin noise is a bit much. The tires that come on it make more noise than an all terrain tire on a truck. The electric drive motor combined with the DCT transmission work extremely well together. I put 25k miles on it in the first year of ownership.

Very disappointed

I am very disappointed with this vehicle. My 2018 Elantra was much better... 1) The car has to warm up to drive semi normal...THE FUEL INJECTED CAR HAS TO WARM UP....UNREAL. (The car will lunge forward when cold almost seeming to not shift gears properly as if it has a transmission problem). 2) The body parts (hood, lights, etc) are not installed evenly. One side has a bigger gap than the other. My 2018 was cheaply assembled also.. 3) The driver seatbelt tangles on release EVERYTIME and won't retract. (1st car EVER, I've had this issue with). 4) The driver seat cushion/filling has been falling out since new, all over my floorboard. 5) Occasionally while pressing the brake pedal, the car will hesitate/stumble 3-4 times and then the brakes seem to release and the car LUNGES forward. 6) Occasionally while pressing the gas pedal from a dead stop, the vehicle will hesitate/stumble 3-4 times and then begin to move. IF you press the brakes after the acceleration stumble, the vehicle shakes and almost stalls. 7) The hybrid battery does not remain charged, thus the electric motor rarely runs. (53 mpg in the beginning to barely 40 now). THIS IS A GAS CAR WITH BENEFITS, PLAIN AND SIMPLE. 8) At idle, in park the gas motor runs CONSTANTLY. The hybrid battery drains quicker with the a/c on. 8) The touchscreen display and the trunk release button, ON THE TRUNK, does not always work the first or second time. 9) When the vehicle switches from electric to gas, at idle, the cars shakes violently at times and has a really high, loud idle. 10) The car makes a "gurgling" sound when accelerating, more when cold. 11) The passenger rear window vibrates and makes noise when slightly rolled down. 12) The rear seat has loose hanging threads... 13) The rear seat would not lock in the upright position, when I first purchased the vehicle, without force being applied. 14) The fuel gauge and digital fuel display went blank and showed no fuel at one point. I have video. 15) When the recirculation button is pressed, the a/c seems to blow weaker, not stronger, as every other car that I have owned has done. 16) The Android auto feature overheats my phone, freezes and drains the phone, more than charges it. 17) The WiFi doesn't work most of the time... useless 18) The cardboard headliner is cute.. I'm sure I missing something, but I'm tired of typing. I use this car for work, UBER. The service Writer at the dealer said that they could not give me a loaner car to use for UBER. THAT is the reason I have not dropped this pile off at the dealer yet. I need a car or I can't work...I'm stuck. My 2018 Elantra was outstanding, no issues in 32,000 miles. This one is junk and I'm sooo disappointed. I feel like I wasted my money. I paid twice what I paid for my 2018 Elantra and I'm not happy! The dealership experience has been completely awful as well. They can't even get the free service (oil changes) right without causing issues...

Flagship features, fun drive.

I bought Elantra Hybrid Limited 2024 for its good gas mileage. I'm very impressed with all the tech and Safety features this car offers. After one year and 7,000 miles, my average gas consumption is 55 mpg. This car is a major competitor for EVs and PHEVs. There's no range anxiety. I drive 550 miles after putting $25 worth of gas. I will buy my nephew a car as his college graduation present, and I'm planning to get another one. Hyundai Elantra is a perfect choice for novice drivers who needs lots of safety features and a low-maintenance car. It also meets seasoned drivers' expectations for an agile and fun driving. It also offers 10 years or 120,000 miles warranty and free Bluelink. Chevy offers free Bluelink for three months and it cost 30 usd/month after that. You can control many functions with your phone with the application and it doesn't require monthly pay.

Underpowered and Small

If you're ok with a small, underpowered car that gets decent (but not great) gas mileage, then go for it. I ended up trading in my car after a year.

Overly Electronic

My 2024 Elantra Hybrid had about 6000 miles on it when I purchased it 6 months ago. I continually try to adjust all the beeping it does as I drive, park, turn, etc. Recently, it "re-booted" and the time changed, all saved radio stations were deleted and now I can't connect to Apply Car Play. A call to the dealer was not helpful and referred me to schedule a visit to Service.
