Best Valued Compact SUV

I really enjoy driving my SEL Plus Tucson, it’s very comfortable and handles not only the road but its bumps very well. The promotional offers Hyundai runs for their SUVs are what really pulled me in compared to Toyota and Honda, 19 with a brand new car that isn’t leased out. My compliants are the “weaker” 2.5L motor and the feature cut offs per trim, yes I understand the more you pay the more you get, but something like Kia, their “sister” company, the vehicles comes fitted with parking sensors in all trims and most models, while Hyundai has it pay walled to Premium and Limited trims. They shell the vehicle to have speakers in the trunk and on the dashboard, but only include it in the limited trims which leaves hollow space, on board navigation is still locked to the higher trims when most cars are fitted with it now, they had a feature in a previous year available to all trims, then 2026 they locked it to the higher end trims. The puddle lights on the side mirrors, LED indicators on the tip of the side mirrors, auto fold mirrors, still using halogen for tail lights on lower trims instead of using LEDs on all trims compared to locking it behind a price point, along with adding a empty red reflector that goes across the hatch door instead of the LED light bar that’s locked to once again, the higher trims with LEDs in them. If you need a vehicle that’s for A to B, to show off something that looks luxurious, looks like a fancier RAV4, then this is the car for you.

Bad gas mileage. Prefer a sedan like my old Elantra.

Good value but not the greatest performance.

Good value but not the greatest performance. Star Hyundai is the worst dealership. Dealing with them took away my enthusiasm for my new car. They promise you everything to make the sale but totally ignore all your calls after you sign the papers. I called to refer my sister who wanted to lease a Tucson but they totally ignored my call so we took our business to Millenium Hyundai. She leased a Tucson from them and we both go there now for all our service needs. Shannon at Millenium Hyundai is the best!

Nice SUV great gas mileage

The Tucson is a nice vehicle, gets very good gas mileage. Ride is ok but a bit rough also. Seats are not made for long distance they are very hard they do have lots of adjustment though. I think the interior has nice room for the SUV size. The lights indicating something is on such as AC need to be brighter you can barely see the indicator light. The backup warning alert is not as sensitive as my other vehicles, it needs better range to alert you. Also the warning sound is hard to hear even with the radio volume down. Overall it is a nice SUV with many features, great warranty.

Two & a half month review

Love my Hyundai

Just love this car…..haven’t figured out all the bells and whistles yet ( like the sound system), but I look forward to driving this car every day. Great vehicle. Love the design and color and it is so comfortable!

Great SUV

Great vehicle with excellent safety features and cameras. Has an excellent cockpit for all the options and features. "Heads-up" display features are an excellent option. Unable to rate Reliability due to the short time that we have owned vehicle, but all is good so far.

MY Tuscon

Great Vehicle with few exceptions. Hyundai cheapened it up by not providing the rear window wiper. The design of the car is such that water and dust rapidly collect on the back window. A little Engineering review should have found this! Also some of the panel programming is confusing.
