A little disappointed
I bought my car a from this location a while ago. Since then, I get all my service through them. I called to make an appointment for a headlight bulb change and was told that they don’t do appointment for those and to just come in. I took it in and was told it was going to take over an hour. So, I decided to go back another day. The next time I took it in, I dropped it off. When I dropped it off, the guy at the counter asked me if that was a Mazda as they don’t carry those bulbs and if I had an appointment. I explained how I called in and they told me no appointment necessary. Then, I explained that I get all my service done through them as I bought my car from them. He seemed very frazzled as they were busy. So, he wrote my name down and then I handed him my key. That was at 9 AM. I received a text introducing me to my technician. A couple of hours went by and I text back and asked them how much longer. No response. Waited until 4 PM and called in. They told me it was in progress. So, I waited another hour and called back. Still showed in progress and that he would have my tech call me. I did that call and said to wait until about 5:45 and head over. I did and it was done.

I will continue to take my car there. And this is the only negative I have to say. The person I took my car to was hurried and made me feel like I was a huge inconvenience and I felt like he was trying to get me to take it elsewhere. I had to explain to him that this was the only place I take it. I highly recommend that they make bulb changes by appointment.

Quick oil change
Second visit to service our Mazda, ready on line appointment, greeted and checked in promptly. Given time estimate. Waiting area extremely comfortable with great free coffee. Car ready early as usual, clear explanation of findings and cost and easy checkout with free car wash coupon. Cannot be more delighted. I drive an hour to have out car serviced here.

Oil change
Came in to have the first oil change on my F350, took about 1.5 hours, comfortable waiting area. Took care of everything along with rotating tires and topping off DEF. Service guys were very friendly, informative and helpful.

New car purchase from a typical money driven dealer.
I had been looking for a Maverick for 2 years and didn’t want to order and wait a year or pay the absurd “Market Adjustment” on the few available.

I found my Maverick as it was just listed online as for sale. I drove to the lot and found the Maverick with a salesman sitting inside talking on this cell phone.

I assumed he was calling his “contacts” to sell it. I called my Salesman “Jim” and confirmed that it was actually available.

I arrived and took the Maverick for a test drive. I agreed to purchase the vehicle for cash.

I explained I needed no financing, had no trade in and needed no insurance.

There was talk that there should have been a $5000 market adjustment added to the price but the internet department jumped the gun only listing it at MSRP. I

I said well I would not be sitting there if that was the case. Not sure if that was just a “smokescreen” to push my purchase.

While entering my current information into the computer I was asked for my SSN and was told this was for identification purposes.

I knew this was a ruse and explained I needed no financing and that my credit was exceptional. Never was I asked to run my credit history.

Shortly thereafter the finance manger came out with my credit history report which was probably falsified at a much lower 744 rather than the 800 plus I always have.

According to the FCRA the business requires a “Permissible purpose”. Which I don’t think applies since I advised up front I needed no financing and the lower score was to sell me financing at an inflated interest rate.

Since this Maverick was being sold as new with the MCO never being sent in although it came out of what I was told was the demo/rental fleet with 4200 miles. I was told these miles would count against my warranty.

I found in their need to make as fast a sale as possible this Maverick had not been serviced.
And I advised that I wanted the vehicle serviced as any other new or used vehicle is on the lot. This was agreed to and appointment was made the following week.

I then had to finish paperwork in the Finance Mangers office. He tried to sell me everything from ceramic coating and maintenance plans to extended warranties. I told him that I was not interested in any of it. He then began to debates the cost of doing my own oil changes!

I told him that it’s not always about money and that I have been a mechanic for over 40 years and that my attention to detail could not be provided in a high volume dealership.

Upon completion the Finance Manager said
“Have a blessed day”. Who is he to bless me? Keep your business secular!

“Jim” bought me a new ball cap at the parts counter for my purchase. I thanked him again as I have bought cars from him since 1991. I told him I’d be back in a week for my scheduled service.

Upon return one week later for my service and spoke with the same service writer. I was asked how was this being paid for? I

I explained that my salesman and I had just spoken with him last week and the arrangements were made at the time of purchase for a new vehicle to be serviced.

“Jim” said that he was just advised since I didn’t purchase their maintenance plan I wouldn’t get a two free oil change.

Or I could pay for it with my Ford Pass points which I hadn’t even received yet!

This is insane as every new or used vehicle on that lot is serviced prior to sale! “Jim” said he agreed would pay for it.

The dealership was miffed because they had not made a huge profit by selling me a bunch of extras!

I’ve now received and spent my Ford Pass connect points.

My salesman deserves 5 stars, but the rest of you not so much.

Just another typical car dealership focused on the almighty dollar trying to squeeze every cent out of buyers!

Needed more than we scheduled, still done early.
Truck was in need of spark plugs and transfer case service on top of what was scheduled. Got it done and back to us earlier than expected. Only small issues were the lack of an oil change reminder sticker and the oil life monitor was not reset. Small things considering all that was done.

Quick, efficient service
Made an appt on line for oil change and tire rotation. When I arrived they got me right in. Waited in a nice waiting area and enjoyed a couple cups of French Vanilla coffee, while doing some reading. The service was quick, efficient, and friendly. I'll be back.

Why I get my oil changed at Mike’s
I scheduled my appointment on line, drive my Ford into a climate controlled area at the appointed time, where a friendly associate greets me and takes me to my service advisor who verifies with me any issues I might be having I remember a tire pressure monitoring issue right front tire and he says no problem we can take care of that for you! He asks about rotating my tires but no, I say that’s not necessary I just put on my snow tires! He tells me where to wait and gives me an approximate timeframe! The waiting room is very bright, clean and comfortable with a tv and coffee! Really very nice! The wait was much shorter than the time he gave me!! I will never go to another one of those budget oil change places!! Such a positive experience at Mike White Ford! From my interactions with the employees to the building/checkin area cleanliness and the comfy quiet waiting area!! Really awesome experience!!
