240,000 miles Plus and Running Fine
As a young man, my father constantly encouraged me to closely maintain my vehicles. In the early days, that meant I was under my cars changing oil, doing inspections, and all the fun stuff of the 1960’s. I still maintain my vehicles carefully. I bought my truck with 28,000 miles on it and it now has 240,000 plus. There have been typical maintenance costs; brakes, plugs, etc. I have also replaced the radiator, valve cover gaskets, right front axle assembly including steering knuckle assembly, and the alternator. And, that is it.
The truck’s ride is still exceptional, it is a great road vehicle, and, as my grandson is learning to drive, it is far and away his favorite.
My next truck will be another used Ram.
