Trouble Free for 8 Years
I expect this car to last 20 years. It is quick enough to pass most cars on the road, the leather is still soft and supple, and I only ever need to replace wear and tear items. I drive hard, so have gone through 3 sets of brakes and 4 sets of tires. This car is the grand touring edition with the nice Bose stereo, navigation, Sirius XM radio, heated seats, power seats with memory, blind spot monitoring, etc. Yet, nothing has gone wrong. The fit and finish are still perfect. No squeaks, rattles, or gaps in the dash. This car also has a perfect driving position. So many cars, GM and Honda to name a few, are uncomfortable for people with short legs and long arms. In my Mazda 6, I can keep my arms stretched out with just a slight bend at the elbow, which is preferable for cornering and controlling the car. I wish it had some newer conveniences, but they weren't invented in 2009. I will not get rid of this incredible car just for more bells and whistles. I can't get the new Mazda 6, because it now has a 4 cylinder engine and lacks the performance of this car. I will keep it forever, it seems.
