I'm enjoying my Venue

This is my second leased Venue and I still enjoy driving this car. Its very easy to get around in and comfortable to drive. I would recommend this car to anyone who is interested. Take a sample drive and see how you like it also.

Great things come in small packages

Ok love love just two things... One make the seat belt in front adjustable, two the trunk door doesnt close you really have to slam it or light goes off. Seriously love this car...

Nice vehicle. The doors don't really close like they should for a new vehicle. The rear hatchback door is particularly tough. I think it is closed and I get back in the car and the warning light comes on that it is open. I hate to slam it. That's annoying. Otherwise so far it is ok.

Bought the 2026 Venue for my daughter and both of us love it. I use it sometimes to go to work because of the good gas mileage. It’s roomy and has a good amount of power. Great car!

Boring

It's a "car", it starts, it runs. But... that's about it. It is small. It is very small. (I didn't realize that until after the fact). To me, compared to what I was used to (2015 VW Jetta TDI, 20xx Mercedes), everything is backwards / upside-down. Left is Right & Up is Down, & vice-versa. The, I suppose it is, (the CVT) transmission, more then anything else, just gives it a lackadaisical feel. I've had SLOW before, Peugeot 504 D, but you could row the gears & make it work, & it was fun. But this, is simply... boring. (Disclaimer. I'm not likely to particularly like ANY current car out there. I drove many, before purchase, & none excited me. [I do not like all the electronic "gizmos".] So don't take my overall, negative, if you will tone as a negative, per se. Also, I would much rather have purchased a "car", but cars are not really manufactured, any more.) What else... noise. Wind/road noise. Yep. Radio. Absolutely sucks. Don't know why, maybe the antenna, but reception simply stinks. I don't really expect much, I'm a pretty basic person, I don't need fancy-schmancy, but... seems like Hyundai skimped on the little things, where everything "just works", as wanted, as expected, but here, it just falls a bit short. (I would love to have gotten another (2015) VW Jetta TDI again, but everything that was great in that car, is ruined in their 2026's.) The car may very well please others, but just doesn't really cut it - for me. 4000 miles, & it has been reliable - it had better be ;-), & if it remains so, I'll trudge along with it. Won't change my opinion, so it will just be... ... If the center arm rest actually fit my arm, if the radio reception were better, if the cruise control were a bit more logical, I'd be a much happier camper. As it is, it is what it is - & for me, neither here, nor there. Boring, you might say ;-).

Even Better than the Soul

I was upset when Kia (Hyundai’s sister company) discontinued the Soul. However! I’m now thankful they did. I think the Venue is a much cuter vehicle. It’s roomy for myself, passengers, pups, and cargo. I’ve filled it to the brim with various purchases. I appreciate the hidden compartment with the spare tire OR it can be transformed into more cargo space. It’s easy to handle and quite nice inside. The seats are comfortable for short drives, but I don’t know about longer excursions (1+ hours). Overall, I’m very happy with my Venue. It’s beautiful and compact.

I love my venue!

I love how zoomy it is - I enjoy driving it in traffic, its easy to get in and out of hard places and do quick u turns easily. I could use a little more storage, but its amazing on GAS!! $43 a week!

Venue is a great little car!

I’m really enjoying my new Venue! I have experienced an alarm if the hatch door isn’t fully closed, and I appreciate the signal to check the back seat when I exit the vehicle. The A/C is powerful and cools the interior quickly. The seats are comfortable and easy to adjust. As I am short, I like the extra height of the car. The only problem I have it reaching the handhold to shut the hatch!

one of the best cars to buy

The Venue has wind noise because it dose not have double pane windows. I wanted a quiet car so I could hear my music. whole driving 45 mph or below it was quiet enough. Not at 65 or 70. I still can not find the clock. Looked in the manual. Nope. I had to buy a watch to see what time it is while on the road. I guess I will have to bring it into the dealership so maybe they can figure out how to put the clock in the display.
