VelosteRaptor - Sporty, Stylish, and Tech Friendly
I love my Hyundai Veloster. Though I couldn't get it in a a purple (much to my dismay), I still love the metallic blue. I upgraded my vehicle to the tech package and I love all the features it has to offer. I only wish it had heated seats. The gas mileage isn't too shabby, the space is decent, and features are cover most everything you'd expect from a current generation car.
Now for some of the short comings:
-Blind spots are pretty terrifying. Though the added driver side mirror helps, i always find myself triple checking my blind spots as they can be pretty bad.
-Blue tooth and Tech features are great, but every time I leave my car, Pandora automatically starts playing on my phone after the car is turned off. I have checked both the car, phone and app settings, as well as contacted Hyundai and Pandora on this issue. Nothing has yielded results.
-Prepaid maintenance. The dealership got me to buy into this, suckering me in under the guise of covering all the maintenance in my maintenance log book. This is not so. It basically only covers oil and filter changes. I feel conned about this aspect, but it really doesn't have anything to do with the car.
-The non-turbo versions of this car handle well, but will leave something to be desired in the power department. It's completely acceptable performance on the standard engine, but not for those seeking the "umph" when stomping the gas.
