Meets my basic needs but too many quirks
I bought the Tucson PHEV because I wanted a plug-in hybrid SUV and it checked the boxes for price and size, and am very happy with the mileage it gets. On the other hand, it doesn’t drive any better than my previous 2018 Subaru Forster, nor is the interior significantly more comfortable. . The range of the vehicle in EV mode is less than advertise;, the ability to self-mange when it switches to/from hybrid to EV mode is limited, the back windshield wiper is an abysmal, ineffective design, and I’m having problems with the key fob that will require a trip to the dealer (which is almost an hour away). Not quite the upgrade I was hoping for compared to my previous car
