NOT A LEXUS, BUT PRETTY CLOSE
I took delivery of the car on May 9, 2026. Overall, I've been very satisfied with it. The gas mileage is good, but as other vehicle reviews indicated, nt as good as some other hybrids. It is quite comfortable. I bought it to replace a 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe that was totaled. The '26 Tucson is noticeably larger and roomier than earlier Tucsons which I have difficulty getting in and out of and which are not comfortable for me to drive. The '26 is east for me to get in and out of, the ride is fairly comfortable. The the vehicle transitions seamlessly between gas drive and electric drive. The instrument cluster provides clear indication when the vehicle goes to electric mode, permitting the driver to adjust their driving habits to maximize efficiency. I have two complaints about the exterior design. First, the turn signals are located at the bottom of the rear bumper and can be difficult to see from the car behind, especially from tailgating vehicles. The brake lights are not very prominent either. I may have reconsidered the car if I had been more attentive. Second, there is no ability to fod the outside mirrors remotely, even on the Limited trim, which is Hyundai's highest trim. I discovered that feature was available on Tucsons sold in Europe. The overall styling of the car is great, the lines are sleek and modern looking.
