Very comfortable driving this car.

Car is very roomy and comfortable for my family. Car power train is just enough for me. Only one concern was the sudden stop with a good distance with the car in front. This was the covered by the recent recall.

Service was terrible

With under 700 miles on it check engine light came on! We were about 150 miles from our home and approaching Maine. I called the dealer I purchased the Tucson from and was told to stop at the first Hyundai dealership in Maine as directed. They couldn't do anything but there was a dealership about 12 miles away. I slept overnight and the next morning went to that dealership. They couldn't look at it but would be able to schedule an appointment in 2 weeks. I wrote to the company and they never acknowledged receiving my email.

Rides nice, quiet inside. Poor ergonomics and driver control interface

A nice riding and driving vehicle. Quiet. Poor controls design: Auto headlights measure intensity, not distance, so won't dim for other vehicles with weak headlights. Dangerous . Dims a mile away for incoming car with brights. Dangerous. Poor location of driver camera; if have opposite arm on 10 or 2, blocks camera and shuts off cruise. If rest forearm on armrest to adjust controls, arm likely will engage 4wd lock, snow, etc., which are at end of armrest. Loose fingers when adjusting temp will turn on heated seat. AC turns on and off randomly. Heat controls need to be analog; let operator control temp of incoming air, not desired temp of cabin. Digital screen needs a visor to block midday sun which makes difficult to read with inevitable dust. Extremely irritating lockup of controls when starting: "start", then attempt to select gear: goes into N, won't go into D, R, or P, and ignition won't turn it off. Takes about 3 tries to get it to work. Happens frequently. Cruise controls poorly designed; often turn off when attempting to step up or down. It won't leave settings as operator selects them: If needing "snow" "4wd" when go into a store, will need them when come out. But car reverts to " 2wd eco". When have paddles at 2nd setting and battery fully charges, they revert to 0 setting, so have to manually select #2 setting every time. In hilly country where I live, that's multiple times a day. (Since 2nd setting gives about 2-3 more mpg, that's important). Tires won't make 40k miles, and I'm not a heavy foot. Not good for tires that cost $1000 to replace; less expensive 16s or 17s would have been fine. Back seats won't fold flat with rear floor.

9725 performance review

I appreciate the technological advancements. However, the driver’s seat adjustment mechanism poses a challenge in accessing the seatbelt. Furthermore, the recent recall (FCA) has necessitated an immediate halt to our vehicle without my explicit request. The interior cabin lighting is to dim. Changes to software and service update have resulted in a lost of miles per gallon using hybrid Tucson

Seat comfort

I have no complaints about the Hyundai 2025 Tucson hybrid love my car, but I can’t get the seat in a position that is comfortable to both relaxed drive and still be in that area where you have to be paying attention behind the wheel. It seems hard to sit on and there’s just that the steering wheel or something the adjustments are just a bit off for someone 5‘7“ and a female.

I hate this car and dealerships

This stupid piece of crap has been constant issues and service departments telling me the issues are not real because all they see is a teenage girl. Waste of 40k. The only good thing is the warranty except oh wait the service department doesn’t even fix the car. In all it’s probably spent +\-2 months in the shop when I have had it for at the time less than a year. Drove 800 miles back to the dealership I bought it at and told them to not give the vehicle back until it was fixed. It has now been over a year and for the first time I have had a decent car which mind you it still has issues. The “drivers safety” system is more like a “let’s see how many times we can try and kill the driver” system. The vehicle has attempted to drive into other lanes, drive into other cars in other lanes and put me into a ditch. These stupid features won’t even turn off. I have been on forums and youtube and none of the people or anything has given me a way to turn off these horribly dangerous “safety features”. This has been the worst first car experience and I regret all the time I spent working to be able to afford a car. I should have just bought a toyota and accepted a car payment as this has been the worst mistake I have ever made. I tell everyone I meet not to buy a hyundai, kia or genesis as this has been such a horrible experience. Also the all star hyundai in baton rouge louisiana is responsible for wires not being put back and causing damage to the car as it freaked out worse than normal and stoped completely just beeping at a u-haul a good 5-10 feet ahead of me that was parked horizontal to a wall infront of the exit of my apartment parking garage and the arm of the gate closed on the back of the car leaving visible cosmetic damage. If someone from hyundai would like to reach out to me and have a true conversation I would greatly appreciate it because this stupid car has cause me more stress than taking two 20+ credit hour semesters while participating in rotc at a state university. Reliable vehicle

Overall a great smooth running vehicle however since of lately it has become a bit sensitive with the “crash collision” even when I am a good distance from the vehicle in front of me. Also, I DISLIKE the fact that the vehicle does not come with a spare tire.

This is my 4th Tuson!

Over all satisfaction, except for the backward tilted, even with the controls to lower the front portion of the driver seat, kreps the “slight” driver, close to the wheel and/ windshield, making dificult to view over the hood.

Great car

Very quick. Handles like a smaller automobile. I’m not “in love” because I have a collector’s 2024 Daytona Stage 2, but this is close to my heart as the safe, economical (no joke $5.99 gas didn’t hurt), family runabout. One of my best purchases.

It's Fun to Drive

I've had this car 19 months and only have 7800 miles on it as it is my around town car and I am retired. Nevertheless, i love driving this. It handles great, has a smooth ride, accelerates well and I get around 32 mpg over the duration. That is with a lot of short trips. The backseat leg area is spacious, and the seats are comfortable. I have a 'Limited' model and love the backup camera. Also, the electronic displays and controls.

Pretty nice car to drive and ride in. All the automation is confusing. I prefer knobs and switches to turn things on. I wish it were 2-3" lower.
