Great car but digital key a tad wonky

Love everything about the car but it has a few minor glitches that I hope software updates will resolve. I use the digital key a lot as the physical key is large and using my phone is so much easier. Often the digital key is choosy when I try to open the driver door, making me try multiple times before it works. Same with starting the car. I place my phone in the dock and sometimes the car won't start, again taking multiple times. One time I thought I was going to have to call someone to come pick me up as the car wouldn't start. The last issue is with CarPlay. Often it doesn't sync up and I have to use BlueTooth. I have tried restarting the car but to no avail. I just use BlueTooth (not optimal) and upon the next time I use the car, Car Play will sync up. Frustrating. I do love the media controls on the steering wheel and the manual knobs.

1. Suspension is very stiff. It seems you can feel every crack in the road. 2. Right Directional camera screen on the Dash hard to seek because of steering wheel positioning. 3. Fingerprint Button difficult to use with left index finger. 4. I don't care when the cruse control is shutoff that auto steering stays on. 5. Very satisfied overall, with one persistent electronic glitch.

Very satisfied with performance and features with one exception. BlueLink hasn't been able to connect with car for months now and so we've been without some of the high-tech features. Three visits to the dealership so far regarding this problem but now a Hyundai caseworker is working with us and we're hopeful this will be resolved soon.

More Than Exceeds Our Expectations

We purchased our 2025 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid in limited trim because of its’ suite of advanced driver assistance and safety features in April of 2025. We have not been disappointed.

Overall the vehicle is feature rich, particularly the electronics and driver safety aspects. However, the quality control seems lax. In the first few months, there was rattle noise that needed to be fixed. Now there is some noise like a water running or bearing rubbing. Can’t figure out where it is coming from. Fuel efficiency is disappointing.

Solid, reliable, fun ride

Overall I am really pleased with my Tucson, but find myself missing a few basic features (light in the visor mirror, sunglass holder, gas cap in the door so you don’t have to twist on/twist off) that were standard on my Honda. But overall it’s a smooth ride. Love, love, love the big screen and heads up display. Gas mileage isn’t as good as I had hoped but maybe my hybrid expectations were too high. Also wish the headrest angle was somehow adjustable. Also, while I appreciate the safety features, they are sometimes overly sensitive and I feel like it treats me like a toddler.

Car is very comfortable easy to drive. It's loaded with safety features to help your drive and keep you safe. Gas mileage is just OK. Don't think your going to drive forever on a tank of gas. They could have done better... The big drawback is there is NO spare tire in the model we have.. it's a little nerve wracking when driving a distance on the highway..especially being a senior. I will be getting rid of this car when we are able to. Be careful as to what's in your car when buying

Electronic issues

Many of the electronic systems work sporadically. Right now the cruise control works for a few miles and then it stops. I’ve had issues like warning lights come on when there is nothing wrong with the car. Several times the screen has gone totally black so that I have no idea how much fuel I have or what speed I’m going. Dealer has been responsive but the fixes he has had done haven’t solved the issues permanently. I’m not sure what the answer is.

Would definitely buy again

Great comfort and style. The gas mileage is great, especially for this size vehicle. The seats are comfortable, and the back seats are comfortable as well. The back seat area is roomy, even for adults. There's quite a bit of storage space in the back. If additional storage space is needed, the back seats can be folded down, however, they aren't flat and even with the back, so keep that in mind. I would like a little less road noise, but it's not terrible. The a/c / air still blows, even when it's turned off, and that's a bit annoying, especially when the driver and passenger prefer different temperatures.
