I took my ‘25 Tucson Hybrid in for its 10,000 mile service and waited for my vehicle. Everything went smoothly, the waiting area is nice, very satisfied.

Great looking, performing and priced.

Comfortable, high gas mileage and very roomy. Every available performance and safety feature you would expect to find in a much more expensive car is included along with the best warranty in the auto industry. Futuristic body style and interior design is real plus and adds to the total value of the vehicle.

Questionable Ride

This vehicle rides rough. In the colder mornings we hear a cluck in the rear passenger side. Above average MPG. Like the inside look and feel. The full length gage and map area Great. Mostly a quiet ride except a wind noise on highways.

Love everything about this car with one caveat

Overall I love everything about the vehicle. Style, features, mpg. I have a single complaint. I work from home, and sometimes do not drive 2 or 3 days at a time. Most times when this happens when I go to get in the car the battery has discharged. This is not a huge deal as all I have to do is press the battery button and it jump starts itself (though if the car is locked I have to use the physical key, and to do so you have to unsnap a plastic piece of the door handle which while not time consuming is annoying). I have had the car checked multiple times for parasitic drains and every time they say it is fine. Like I said this issue takes 1-5 minutes to resolve and the jump start button has worked Everytime though I am scared someday it won't. In my ideal world this would happen after 10 days of the car being driven not 2.

Good features, rough ride

The operational and safety features of the car are very good. I especially like the adaptive cruise control feature which has, so far, functioned perfectly. On the negative side, the ride is pretty rough for an SUV, but that may be exacerbated by the terrible shape California roads are in. Also, when we have left the vehicle unused for several weeks during trips, the 12 v battery has always run down and, if the doors were locked, requires removing part of the door handle to insert the fob key and then unlock the door. The 12 volt battery reset does recharge the unit enough to start the car, but it also has initiated the car alarm multiple times which has been very frustrating!!!

expected more from the comfort package

the biggest complaint is the car came without a alarm system . I asked before I bought if they had taken care of the fact that you can steal the car with a cell phone app and I was told yes they did. BUT there is no door alarms or break glass system and service department said they couldn't add it , so basically the car might as well be unlocked. I went to a after market supplier and they could do it for 500$ but you'd have to use two key fobs .that and you don't even get a garage door opener. and this is what you get with the top of the line Hyundai not even the basics every car comes with.

Infotainment

On staring the vehicle, I would like for the infotainment system to return to where it was when the car was turned off. Every time I start my car I have to press “media” and then “favorites” to only get the radio stations I care to listen to. I would also like for Hyundai to come up with a way to include some type of spare tire; donut or full size instead of a tire mobility kit.
