Moving from a 2020 Sonata Ultimate to a 2025 Tucson Hybrid Ultimate

After test-driving the 2025 RAV4 Ultimate Hybrid and the 2026 Honda CR-V Ultimate, I chose the 2025 Tucson Hybrid Ultimate trim. Though the RAV4 and CR-V are excellent vehicles, I believe the Tucson is a better option. Its looks, power, comfort, warranty, price, and technology are superior. While the RAV4 and CR-V have a proven track record, the Tucson's warranty helps to close any gap.

Best vehicle I’ve ever owned

By far the best vehicle I’ve ever owned. I love all of the safety features and creature comforts. My only complaint is the lack of overall range and the fuel mileage dropping 8-10 miles per gallon at highway speeds. And on a minor point, the rear turn signals are positioned on the lower part of the bumper and not very visible. A better option would be the taillights to also serve as the turn signals

Exceed expectations. Great gas mileage!

So far, my new Hyundai Tucson Hybrid (2025, Convenience Trim) exceeds expectations in terms of features and performance. Am hoping this high-tech vehicle is as reliable and trouble free as my previous two Tucson vehicles.

So Very Very Sad

I had had a good experience with the Sonata I inherited. So, I was enthusiastic about buying a new Hyundai. It was to be the car/vehicle I would keep for years. I am so really unhappy with my purchase, car/suv. So unhappy. This is the worst big purchase I have ever made. Good tires. Good handling on the road--when I am able to be the driver. Horrible Horrible Horrible "driver assist" anything electronic. I have tried to deal with the dealer-Balise I HAVE never felt so UNSAFE IN A VEHICLE. as I do in this Tuscon 2025 (bought new from Cape Cod)

Excellent SUV

I bought my Hybrid Tucson in late November, 2025. So far I am very satisfied with the drive and feel of this SUV. I bought the limited model, which has a lot of bells and whistles. Unfortunately, I have not tried most of them yet. I will say that the heated seats both front and rear heat up very rapidly as is the heated steering wheel a real luxury that I have not had in my past SUV. My only concern is that the stated dimensions should have been only 1inch less on with then my Nissan Murano when it is at least 3 to 4 inchs less. Mileage is OK or slightly less then advertised.

The computer is a bit much

Enjoying the car. There are some features I feel are unnecessary involving the car computer system. The Apple car pay uses a lot of data and will quickly cause you to go over your plan if not an unlimited plan. The seat takes a long time to get it set at the right height and distance. I’ve also been receiving scam letters in the mail every week since purchasing the car asking to purchase additional warranties or posing as Hyundai & posing as the DMV

Nothing to complain about

Downsized from a Palisade to the Tucson for improved mileage and better APR. while I loved the Palisade, I think I like the Tucson better. While not as big, it is extremely comfortable and intuitive to drive. My only “complaint “ would be that Hyundai doesn’t have proximity keys to lock the door when I walk away.

I love most things about it

The interior. The exterior. The ride. The infotainment system. The amazing full sunroof. Unfortunately after 4289 miles it bricked. Apparently because of "recall" (according to the dealer) bit really it was a service note. Two software updates. After leaving it for a week with the dealer I got it back. Before it went to dealer I wasn't getting sticker gas mileage- but it wasn't far off. Since getting it back it has been in the basement. I took it for an oil change but that didn't help.

Well equipped, almost like its European version and nice to drive

Good road behavior, comfortable and generally has most of the right features. Could have been even better with: all around cameras, self parking. electric passanger seat, and spare tyre and kit(which I had to buy separately). Headlight cover broke easily by a small stone and replacement part (only complete headlight is available) is unbelievably expensive and requires major disassembly.

Love my car!

The Tucson is a comfortable and reliable car so far. I love all the features it has, along with its warranty. It has everything I need for a daily commute or longer car trips, plus it has the right amount of space for our family of four. It’s great to drive and makes me feel safe. The only thing I would have preferred is having more color options.

Car good but cust service not so.

So far the car drives great, but I still have yet to get mechanical keys to open the door if the power ran out/battery died (didn't receive them at time of sale). I have had multiple calls to the sales team without response, and though they say they'll call back, they don't. I wrote a letter online to Hyundai USA to share my experience and they literally said in the same email response that customer satisfaction is very important to them, and that they can't help me. Still no keys received. Vehicle still too new to know how it'll hold up. I got a hybrid and apparently the electric motor doesn't work much in cold weather (news to me!). If anyone from Hyundai actually reads this and wants to contact me, you can probably look me up by the license plate number in the picture. I'm not holding my breath.

Nice car. Comfortable ride. Good gas mileage. I don’t like the cup holders or the storage areas. It didn’t come with a spare tire. I don’t agree with their thinking on that.
