Protect under the hood

Beware that rodents will chew your wires and cause $$$ damage. My car had about 2400 miles when it started to act up. A mouse caused $7500 in damage, and it took more than three weeks to repair. The wire insulation is soy based, and they apparently love it. I wish someone had told me to take precautions. I really wish they would design them better so this can't happen.

Great car. Nice amenities for the trim I chose. I wish it came with the garage door opener in the rearview mirror, though. That should be standard.

Love the car love the dealership if I have one suggestion I hope you take it and make an improvement is have the car auto lock when you walk away from it that would be a huge benefit. Keep doing what you’re doing thanks.

Great Vehicle with a Few Annoyances

This vehicle is my second Hyundai and their vehicle quality continues to be outstanding. That said, I have found the Driver Attention Warning (DAW) and Forward Collision Avoidance Assist (FCA) systems to be problematic. Specifically, the DAW alerts me to keep my eyes forward when driving with sunglasses on and using the cruise control, even though I am looking forward (the internal camera watching the driver doesn't seem to account for sunglasses). For the FCA, during inclement weather, it seems to be disabled frequently (perhaps the sensors need to be relocated so they aren't impacted by snow/slush being routinely thrown on the car from vehicles ahead?).

Problems that won’t go away or get solved!!

From the time I’ve had my new Tucson, I have 2 issues. 1, The camera on the steering system keeps telling me I have to focus when I am. No one seems t help me correct it!! 2, My microphone in the navigation system is not functioning properly! I have a case # with Blue Link CASE 41721748. I keep being told that they are working on it. I’ve called them quite a few times to no avail!! I’ve spent precious time on this and I’m extremely frustrated!! This is my 3rd Hyundai and I never had this issue with my other vehicles. I’m starting to think I have a lemon!! Hopefully you will read this and get some resolution for these issues!!

A great vehicle, but it has a few annoying idiosyncrasies.

A great car, but some of the driver features are terrible: "do you need to take a break?" And you can't turn them off. And not being able to wear certain sunglasses w/ cruise control [it turns off]. If they could allow you to opt out of 3 or 4 of the "safety" features that are like an overbearing mother, I would give the car a 9.8 out of 10. With the annoyances, I give it an 8.5.

Terrific suv ruined by poorly designed interior

Great drivetrain, handling and fuel economy. Unsafe interior design and driver distraction. Touch instead of buttons. Radio which I’d very difficult to use. Accidental drive mode selection on enter column where right arm rests. Twist shifter difficult to use and too close to wiper arm. HVAC all touch buttons result in multi second distraction from looking at the road. What a shame. A great hybrid SUV ruined by a dangerous unpleasant design of interior electronics. Won’t buy another unless the fix it.

Almost Perfect….

2 faults : In daylight only,on/off indicator light bars for cabin functions for defogging and internal air circulation and window defogger activation are INVISIBLE AND CAN BE DISTRACTING WHILE DRIVING if the wind shield starts fogging!! Should at least 3X BRIGHTER! Internal navigation ( my Tucson is a Limited) is unnecessarily complex to be useful- i ended up using Google Maps Lastly, drivers seat back seems to make pretty loud squeaky sounds as i’m riding.

Great vehicle minus the poor hybrid gas mileage

The Tuscon Hybrid is comfortable, stylish and fun to drive. My only complaint is the gas mileage. I am very disappointed with the Hybrid gas mileage, it should be much better than it is.
