It's just 'okay'

Mostly i like it but it takes up to 10 min for heater too start to warm up the car when it is cold out and the internal temperature setting has to be 80. When it's on 72 to 75 can't feel any heat at all. I hate that it puts the brakes on for me especially if the car in front of me turns right. Scarce the heck out of me. Also I have never been able to figure out the screen and how to use it. I thought my Ford wasn't much easier to figure out

My Hybrid Experience

Love this vehicle. I get great gas mileage with the hybrid model. The car has great safety pluses and rides well.

Drives good

Very comfortable car, still not getting the mileage it says it should, overal we average about 31.2 I believe so nowhere near the 35mpg which is the main reason we bought. I don't like how it will surge forward to fast or do things for you which you might not want. I like it for freeway where you have cruise control etc, but when passing it surges to quick, it does not catch it if somebody squeezes in they should not and it slams the break or does not see it in time for just a few seconds. The auto matically do the stay inside the line should be optional, not just turn on and pull the wheel out of your hand, very scary.

Love my new Tucson

Overall the car has been wonderful. There are some aspects of the warnings that I find excessive i.e. time for a coffee break …. When there’s a bike rack on the back there’s no way to disable the back up warning & force stop. You have to do it each time & it’s about 4/5 bottoms to press. I’d also like to be able to lower the sound it makes when ba king up. It’s very loud.

Review

I am extremely disappointed with both the quality of my Hyundai vehicle and the level of customer service I have received. I expected a reliable vehicle backed by a company that stands behind its products, but my experience has been the exact opposite. The vehicle has experienced issues that I would not expect from a manufacturer with Hyundai’s reputation. Instead of enjoying peace of mind, I have dealt with repeated concerns, inconvenience, and frustration regarding the vehicle’s performance and dependability. Equally troubling has been Hyundai’s customer service. My concerns have not been handled with the urgency, empathy, or professionalism that customers deserve. Communication has been inconsistent, responses have been delayed, and I have often felt that my concerns were minimized rather than addressed. As a loyal consumer, I expected accountability and a genuine effort to resolve these issues, but that has not been my experience. I believe customers invest in a vehicle not only for transportation but also for the confidence that the manufacturer will support them when problems arise. Unfortunately, Hyundai has fallen short in both product quality and customer care. I hope the company takes meaningful steps to improve its standards and restore the trust of its customers.

Hybrid?

What a great start I had with my Tucson Hybrid. 1st 6 months was averaging 34/35 MPG. Got a software update after 6 months, my MPG went down to 23 to 26 MPG. Took it to the dealer where I bought it, and all they said was: "Well, that is just the way some Hybrids are". Since then have had several software updates, and MPG up to 30 MPG.

The cons to me outweigh the pros. It does drive smooth and you do get a lot of features for the money, but I have had engine issues already, paint peeling, and the dirty screen is unbearable.

Love it but mileage isn’t the best

I feel like I have a luxury vehicle for an affordable price. I love everything except the fingerprint reader that never works and the mileage has been much less than expected. In the winter I was averaging 24 mpg and summer average is 35-37 mpg. I was consistently getting that in my gas engine CRV. It was the reason I wanted a hybrid. That has been a HUGE disappointment. I see owners getting the same mileage with gas engine 2025 Tuscons

Extremely happy with this vehicle. Love the new display and console changes from 2024. Car rides very smoothly. Excellent pick up in sport mode with the hybrid engine. Typically get 37-38 mpg.

fun driving

It is great on gas and its fun to drive, wish it had more power under the hood. I do find that ever morning as i let the car run with autostart. when i put it in to gear and go down the hill, the car will go into high RPM and will not come up unless i lay off the gas and or if i come to level ground. I will do that when i go down a small hill from time to time. I spoke to the dealership and they said there is nothing wrong with the transmission. so I wish that can be better.

Tucson met all my requirements.

Attractive exterior lines with nice contrasts and futuristic lighting and angles. Interior is spacious and well thought out. Love the display and ease of use. Many safety features; side cameras when changing lanes, I can't live without the HUD, heated/cooled seats works wonders. Seats are firm and super comfortable. The care feels bigger than it is on the inside. Have owned this car for over a year and am thrilled with my purchase. Recommend to all and may purchased this model again in a few years.
