12 volt battery is faulty + poor gas mileage

The 12 volt battery is faulty and the gas mileage is very poor on highway. Wouldn't recommend a Hyundai hybrid and won't buy another one.

I think i got a lemon

My car was almost perfect for a month!! First I started feeling a play u n the pedals was in the shop in less than 6 months for that. Then the gas missed and I almost got hit, the break missed almost slammed in another vehicle! Now it is rough when it goes from gas to ve and sometimes it trembles- almost like my vehicle is falling apart. Sometimes the vehicle in gear is hard. It can be in drive already but when I try to move it say press the pedal and put in gear. When I do, it will say it is already in gear. I think my car need a reset. Because nothing comes up on the machine

Beautiful Car with One Major Flaw

This car is everything you want in a vehicle - beautiful/sporty design, all the features, affordable, quality engineering, newest technology, warrantees are second to none...however it has one major flaw. It must be driven every 4 days unless it dies. It is not capable of maintaining a charge like a typical vehicle or hybrid. This is the only reason the car is not given a higher rating - unreliability is a huge problem for me (regardless of a button installed to jump start the car...the experience of getting into my dead car and then jumping it constantly is not a pleasant one). One other note - the head rests are pushed forward in an uncomfortable way.

Overall, very pleased with the 2024 Hyundai Tuscon hybrid. I'm about 19 months into a 36 month lease, and given my experience so far, I'm planning to purchase it when the lease ends.

The hybrid battery is junk. I shouldn’t have to have a babysitter for the car to start battery every 3 days

Love My Tucson!

I wasn't sure I wanted to give up my Subaru Crosstrek after ten years of carefree driving, but my husband wanted to try a hybrid and Subaru didn't offer one at the time. We were so impressed with our local Hyundai dealership and, when we walked in, our beautiful silver Tucson was sitting right in the showroom. It was a new/leftover 2024 which made the price more attractive, too. The test drive was great - comfy, substantial, and safe - with a little bit of sporty thrown in, too. It's just over a year old, with only 6K miles, but so far so good!

to much electronics

electronics can be very confusing. Need to simplify and remove some of the choices. I do not like pushing the buttons to drive and park. I like a shift better. The first time I got into the Tucson at home battery was discharged. Salespeople did not tell me about the button to push. I finally got help but it took several hours.

Oil plug issues

Had problem with oil pan plug resulting dropping all of the engine oil and shut down on busy highway, this problem was also noted as an issue on the internet for this car. Disappointed how the dealership just shrugged this off as a one off. Frustrated when they told me if they had not done the most recent oil change it probably would not have been covered by the warranty. Something wrong with that statement when it is a known issue. Question Hyundai standing behind it’s product.

It’s missing some key features like wireless CarPlay in digital car key which the salesman told us we had. I ended up getting rid of it because multiple issues with the car starting after leaving it for a week..

An Attractive Compact Ride

My Hyundai Tucson gets me where I need to go in style. It’s economical to operate, stylish, and compact. Three things prevent me from giving it a 10: 1. Sometimes while driving, it will suddenly overcorrect — pulling left or right which is a bit scary, 2. The cup holder is too small to hold the average water bottles. 3. If parked for 3-4 weeks without use, it shuts down and not even the doors would open. 4. The vehicle’s maintenance schedule needs to align with the dealership’s. The car is telling us it’s time for maintenance at 5,000 miles but the dealership says it’s 8,000 miles. This is very confusing.
