love the car except for a few minor things

Absolutely love the car! Had a 2022 and totaled it hitting a deer. (Very safe! No one was hurt yet the car was totaled!) Turning radius for parking isn't great. Wish the reverse noise for the hybrid was a little less obnoxious. The reverse beep is loud. The new touch to unlock feature does not work as well as the old button, and we greatly preferred the bluetooth apple carplay as opposed to having to plug in. This is a great car and I would buy it again for my daughter. Also love that the hybrid saves us gas money and has great acceleration!

Tucson Hybrid MPG not as good as I was led to believe

I love the style of my Tucson, I appreciate the features of my SUV. But I definitely thought my mpg would be much better with the hybrid than it is. I have to be conscious of getting my vehicle into EV mode. I had a 2017 Tucson gas SUV and my gas mileage is about the same as with that car.

Reliable comfortable and attractive

This is my 4th Tucson and my first HEV. I have loved each vehicle! It’s roomy. I like the height above the road. I was nervous about an HEV’s power. It can hiccup a bit on acceleration and sometimes runs quite loud but must if the time runs smoothly.

Nice car

Very good handling. Comfortable interior although a little tight for my six foot frame. I like the 360 degree camera and the screen. Good gas mileage. Nice electronic features. Minor problems are a loud high pressure fuel pump and sluggish shifting around a stop. Reverse warning signal is loud and volume is not adjustable.

I love this car!

This car has been wonderful for the last year and a half. No problems so far! Lots of space for me and my children. Features that I didn't have in my more expensive (luxury brand) previous car and less road noise.

Great SUV Hybrid!

Everything works after 34,000 miles. Best Car/SUV I have ever owned after 60 years of buying/driving. The only complaint is when you have lane control on it tacks to close to the line on left hand curves. RIght hand curves works fine? Had one issue where the the car shut down and it told us to pull over and turn things off. After a while evrything came back on. Took it to the dealer and he reset some of the battery control modules. Haven't had a reoccurrence.

2024 Tucson Hybrid

I’ve enjoyed driving the Tucson I love all the features that come with the Tucson, hands free driving is my favorite I don’t use it all the time but on long trips it comes in handy the only thing I don’t like is the navigation system I don’t always drive on the freeway sometimes I like to take the streets to some location and you can’t turn off freeway navigation for directions other then that everything else is great. My only other characteristics I don’t like is price to purchase or lease.

Love the Tucson Hybrid Limited

Lots of nice features. Don't like the infotainment screen. To get to the radio screen, EVERY TIME YOU START THE CAR, you have to confirm language (honestly how often would that need change on a routine basis??), then get pitched to sign up for a subscription service so you have to press "later", then you have to press "radio". It would be so much easier if it defaulted to the last setting that was used. This is a major flaw. Major, like a multiple times a day hassle. It could cause me to buy a different car because it's a point of abrasion that shows up faithfully. Otherwise, I love the car.

Only three things I don’t like

I bought the Hyundai Tucson Hybrid version and there are three things I don’t like about it. First is the beeping when you go in reverse. Second is the windscreen wipers have a mind of their own. They start at the setting you turn them onto and then take off for no reason. So you have to turn them off and back on again to slow them down. Third is the temperature control settings not being knobs but areas on the dashboard you press.

Ultimate Comfort, Safety, Style, and Mileage

In 2024 we bought our third Toyota Prius. Having been happy with our previous two Prius', we expected the new one would continue to be just what we wanted. Unfortunately the 24 Prius was quite uncomfortable to get in and out of, so after 4 months we decided to trade for a small hybrid SUV. We checked the Honda, Toyota, and Hyundai. The Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Limited checked all the boxes for us. It was easy to get in and out of. The visibility was great. The Limited electronic features were outstanding. And it looked fantastic. An added plus for us, living in Florida, that it had very light gray leather seats. Every other SUV had black seats, which are tough to sit on in Florida Summers. I'm almost 6' gall. My wife is 5'2". The Tucson adjusts easily to each of us. We have had no problems with it, and this is probably the nicest car we've ever owned.
