Recommendation: Do not buy!

The warranty is good, and you’ll need it. We’ve used the warranty 4-5 times during our couple years of ownership. The back door randomly closes when we have it opened, and it will keep closing a couple inches after hitting you/resistance. The remote start just turns off within a minute or so, which is apparently a “Feature”, despite the inside of the car still being over 100 degrees. This happens almost every time as I’m strapping my kid into their car seat, making this “feature” a potentially deadly hazard. If the trunk is open, you can forget about using the passenger door handle to unlock the car, or the key fob, which is another “feature”. Despite being the Limited edition, you have to plug in your phone to connect it to the car, as wireless CarPlay was only offered on lower end models. If you have more than one driver profile, it will regularly revert back to the current one after switching them. The driver profile solely adjusts the seat position, missing the basic mirror settings that are standard with other brands. The console also doesn’t have any buttons, so you have to take your eyes off the road to utilize the touchscreen when adjusting the volume. The beeps from going in reverse sometimes continue after placing the car in drive, with the fix being to restart the car. The collision warning system also goes off a couple times per week, wether going forward or reverse, despite NOTHING being there, so the car slams on the brakes, which is another “feature”. I hate this car.

I love my Hyundai other than if I go about 50 miles an hour at rattles in the front. Sounds horrible took it into the dealership. Their answer was. They are getting a lot of complaints on this and they don’t know what they can do for me. this is why I don’t know if I’m driving a reliable car or not. I’m concerned about taking this car too far away from home because of the noise. Everyone that gets in my car asked what in the world is that sound

Noisy and not built well.

In cold weather there is a persistent noise along the panel where the driver seat belt is. When it warms up it goes away. Super annoying.

Unreliable with service issues

Vehicle was with dealer service dept from December 2025 - May 3026, over 29 days, Returning numerous times for rear hatch rattle (noise) and 26 days for check engine light.

Nice vehicle

I’m coming to the end of my three-year lease and I’ve enjoyed the Hyundai Tucson Hybrid. A couple minor issues I have with the vehicle. The main one being the touch door lock…it’s inconsistent and frustrating at best especially if I’m carrying a bunch of stuff and I’ve got to put things on the ground to rearrange my hand to fit whatever works. Another issue is whatever material they use on the door panels. No matter how clean I am a slight touch of my arm on the door panel leaves the scuff. At the end of the day it looks like someone’s been rolling around on it. Given it comes off easily, but it still looks bad. Another visual is the glossy display panel. A matt finish would look better with fingerprints. Perhaps they use glossy because it’s more sensitive to the touch?

Excellent Tucson

I love the Hybrid Tucson and the additional power. I'm waiting to be first in line to get the 2027 NEW TUCSON because I like this vehicle. I only wish you would make it (like Honda and others do) so you can have it AUTOMATICALLY lock the doors when you leave with the keyfob. Or have it as an option. I routinely get the app notification that my doors are unlocked - why not just do it automatically?? Also, the "distance to empty" on the hybrid is not accurate. Once you get to 100 miles to empty, it drops off FAST - like 2 miles for every 1 mile driven - meaning you only get about 50 miles remaining. PLEASE fix this. Also, if you don't drive the car for a week, it shuts off the battery and you have to pry open the door handle to open the door. It's annoying. Please make it so the battery stays on for the door lock at least. It's an inconvenience that is unacceptable that happens every time you don't drive for a week. Or at least make it easier to get into the vehicle and put locks back on the door.

The hybrid limited is loaded with safety and convenience features

Ours is a hybrid Limited.We love this vehicle. We love the safety inconvenience features. We love the miles per gallon. One item I would nitpick with or about. The door on the back of the vehicle should have a warning buzzer if you put the vehicle in gear without putting the door down. And, we don’t like the fact that you have to hold the button in order to have it raised fully.

My 2024 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid

Overall, my vehicle has been a pleasure to drive. My only compliant is that the horn stopped working and I had to return the vehicle to the dealership to have it serviced and was driving for a month without a horn waiting for an appointment; which is a safety issue.
