Great Car, Misleading Highway EPA Milage, backup horn embarrassing

3300 miles driven. I really like everything about the car except the very misleading EPA highway milage and embarrassing reverse horn. The claim of 36mpg is simply unattainable at normal highway speeds. Driving at 70mph I average around 28mpg and driving at 55mph I can get around 33mpg. I live in a mostly flat area, so I am highly disappointed in the highway milage, but in city driving does deliver on estimates, I average 38mpg in city. Seats could be softer as well; they are fairly firm. The backup horn is absurdly loud, it wakes my family up in the morning and people in parking lots all turn and stare when I backup.

Excellent Vehicle fun to drive

Tucson Hybrid Blue trim is the best!

The Blue trim is the least expensive but the only one with wheel knobs for the radio (along with the touch screen) and wireless CarPlay. Great MPG and a smooth, quiet ride. Lots of display options while driving to customize your driving experience. I use the display that shows current MPG levels to help me keep the vehicle using the EV motor as much as possible to save on fuel economy. Having 4 total USB charging ports (one located near each seat) is a must for a family vehicle. The trunk has extra storage space below the flooring, and also the flooring can be lowered to allow for more space above it when needed. Proximity key, and you can use the app on your phone to check the vehicle status (lock doors, remote start, etc). Love it!

Luxury Car, Incredible Value

This car performs way above its price range. Big Fan! This car is not in the luxury category but it should be. The combination of performance and comfort is unmatched in the category it is compared to. No wonder it is rates so high by the experts.

2022 Tucson Hybrid SEL Conv gives you a lot of great features for minimal cost compared to other vehicle brands

This is my 8th Hyundia purchase since 1986 and every vehicle purchased was a pleasure to own and operate. The five year sixty thousand mile warranty was also a huge factor in each of my eight purchases

Love my Tuscon Blue. It is comfortable, easy to drive, easy for my handicapped husband to enter & exit. Great gas mileage combined with hybrid! Love the extra heating vents for the backseat. The storage capacity behind the rear seats is great. Room for the large dog crate plus luggage.

If you're thinking about getting the hyundai tucson hybrid for mileage check out the reviews on line first.They say 37/38 mpg and most are getting 26/27 mpg if lucky.I was getting better milage on my 2020 chevy equinox. They don't tell you these little things before you buy.

Hyundai did everything right with this vehicle! Love the suspension on this vehicle; the all-wheel-drive; the room inside the vehicle; storage space is excellent; and it is a quiet and comfortable drive! Love this vehicle and more ways than one! Comfortable, stylish, and great on gas for an SUV.

Great car/poor headlights

Love the car. Lots of high tech safety features. Very comfortable to drive. Headlights are terrible. I wish I had test drive the car at night as I probably would have reconsidered buying the car. Except for the headlight issue, I’m happy with the car

This is my third Hyundai and I am beyond pleased with all that this car offers. The Limited Trim provides every safety feature available as well as many touches that rival what other "luxury brands" feature. It also is very responsive with amazing gas mileage. Acceleration is so smooth - I describe it as "velvet power". I appreciate the many comfort features such as climate control, automatic cruise control, heated steering wheel, navigation etc. and am very impressed with the room inside including for back seat passengers. The rear cargo area is quite large and the rear gate opens fully so access is very convenient. Highly highly recommend.

ONLY Black interior... Deal Killer

Really impressed with the new 2022 Tucson Hybrid, however the one factor that is a Deal Killer is the interior color. Hope you add another choice, preferably a light beige similar to the one Nissan has in the Murano. Evidently, your design team has never lived in the south where you can't get in the car until you let it cool a little bit after it was sitting in the sun. Within a year the interior begins a slow deterioration of the materials due to the temperature inside. Please let us know when you have a better choice. A lighter color also lifts the spirits for a lot of people, since a dark color can be depressing.
