I’ve been leasing since 2012 - had two sonatas $ 4 Santa Fe’s - My 2023 was nicer. I don’t like when I fold down the 3rd row you can see into the back storage space. I do like camera rear view mirror though. I don’t like the open space - the 2023 you could close / slide to cover the open space on the console.

Vehicle is a lemon

Upon closing the purchase of my 2026 Santa Fe XRT I attempted to drive the vehicle home but as I began to drive away the display began showing trouble notices. Check safety system, check engine system etc. I hadn't yet left the parking lot. I went back into the dealership and was told to drive the car home and that it may reset itself. It did not. I was asked to take the car through a car wash to be sure it didn't have a dirty sensor. This did not solve the issue. I returned the vehicle to the dealership the following Monday and I have not seen the vehicle since. I was given a loaner vehicle while they attempted to fix my brand new car. The car was returned on March 16, 2026. It is now June 1, 2026. Meanwhile I filed a claim with Hyundai Motor America who agrees to buy back the vehicle. That process has not yet been finalized. I have asked that the dealership locate another 2026 Santa Fe XRT in Hampton Gray with a factory towing package so that I might immediately purchase another one in the color I originally preferred. I had owned a 2025 Santa Fe XRT with tow package that I very much enjoyed until it was involved in an accident which was a total loss. I merely hope to replace that vehicle which I liked very much.

A very well designed Crossover

The Santa Fe is a great crossover vehicle that is smooth and easy to drive. It is very refined, like a premium vehicle should be. Strong engine with smooth power and transmission shift quality is outstanding. Has excellent exterior design features. The interior is high quality and very quiet. Interior space and storage are very good. Excellent features like Bose system, 2nd sunroof panel with retractable shade, dual opening arm rest, dual glove boxes, and excellent technology. Top Safety Pick+ with IIHS. Hyundai engineering attention to detail is what was standard with Honda, Toyota, and Nissan.

Love my Santa Fe!!

It’s a fun car to drive. Not too small & not too big. Has a ton of features. I’ve had the car for 5 months & I’m still learning about all the features it has. My salesman Luis Moreta was the best salesman I’ve ever had!! If you need a car, ask for him. 🤗

Beautiful vehicle that is too complex to operate easily

This vehicle is our families third Hyundai. The first being a 2007. Love the car, hate the overly complex dash and operating controls. This is the noisiest engine I have ever owned. I have driven blown, supercharged and turbo vehicles. This engine sound "ticky" like a diesel. With the HVAC off, you have to push the recycle switch to stop outside air from coming out of the vents. The radio is not up to standards, sound quality is poor even after adjustments. Three times in the 2100 miles we have owned the car the HVAC system was on twenty minutes after the car was shut off.

Need an actual 2-3 hour course at the dealer (versus quick start manual and videos) on all the bells and whistles.

Love This SUV!

Great SUV! Plenty of features and safety items everywhere. Comfortable ride. I really like shape of the vehicle and the overall style. Love all the cameras. Only 2 items could be slightly better...gas mileage and turbo slightly noisier than my old Highlander. Still glad I bought the Santa Fe.

Santa FE XRT

Vehicle itself is ok but feels rather cheaply made. None of the body panels are very well supported around rear wheel wells. Unbelievable that a vehicle listed as the off road version does not have a front tow point. AC and fan controls are poorly lit and way to small. Again, surprised that a vehicle at this trim did not come with heated steering wheel or bluelink for garage door opener. XRT offroad model did not come with a metal skid plate.

Seat belts are very hard to lock

Seat belts are hard to lock, the H on the lights is not very pretty, and the stop feature is horrible sometimes it works and others ot doesnt, i dont like the AC vents.

My 3rd Santa Fe

As expected, Hyundai has met and exceeded my expectations again. Quality is top-notch on the 2026 Santa Fe. I love the new format of the Santa Fe, very roomy, and a great deal of thought went into the design. I have owned six Hyundai products; this is my third Santa Fe, solidly built and enjoyable. Way to go Hyundai!
