Nice ride but a LOT of poor/glitchy technology
Since I bought the vehicle 2 months ago, I continue to struggle with the dash display and Android auto. The map on the car (I think it is the Blue link map) is absolutely awful! It is a black screen that can not be seen at all during the day. I have read the booklet and searched online and find no solutions. It takes up 1/3 of my home screen with just a black box. The XM radio (when it works) does not show the song title or artist like every other car I have owned. Just the station. Many times when I start up he car, the XM goes back to channel 1. It is not easy while driving to get the radio tuned in. If I use my Android Auto, sometimes it will just turn off XM and go silent, sometimes it will have podcasts to listen to, and other times play normal (what I want) XM radio. So this leaves me the choice to drive without a map (well a black box) or drive without sound. I spent a lot of money on this vehicle and have usually enjoyed the Hyundai products, but I am not satisfied with my Santa Fe at this point. We have a 2023 Palisade, and oddly enough, all the controls are flip flopped on the steering wheel. Since I drive both vehicles , It seems like I spend a lot of time looking at the wheel to make sure I am hitting the right knobs. The car does drive fairly nice and is roomy, but I am having trouble getting past some of these issues.
