2025 Hyundai Santa Fe
There are a few things that I don't like, but as a whole, I love this car. I've had it for about 1.5 yrs and it already has 30,000 + miles. Lots of road trips. Its got a wide open space inside, I don't feel smooshed. It has plenty of cargo room. I keep the 3rd row down and that's usually enough for my 2 to 3 week road trips with my brother. I don't take it four wheeling or mudding but it has been off paved/graveled roads and it's done well so far... Good hwy gas mileage, averaged 28/29 on the last trip I took, a little less in the city. The combination of touch controls and buttons is good although I wish there were more actual buttons. The center console is a bit awkward for me. I don't sit with my seat back far enough to be able to rest my arm on anything except a corner, a very hard corner, plus awkward to open and reach in to as well. I don't use the charging pad, it charges too slow and I have to use a cord, so what I thought was a plus really isn't. Love that it has charger ports all over. The seats are comfy, even after 13 hrs of driving. I don't really care for the shifter style or location, maybe replace it with push buttons? I HATE the engine auto shut off. There is a lag between when I push the gas and when the car actually moves and that has put me in unsafe situations. It's a feature that most people turn off anyway, so get rid of it. Love the backup camera assist, but it would really be handy if a person could also view the front... I don't rely on the camera and always check surroundings when reversing, but can't see over the front of the car and a camera would be nice.
