Overall a great and comfortable car.
Overall, the car is very comfortable and fun to drive. I would just point out that there are a few minor electronic details that didn't seem to be well thought out when engineered and designed. One is the door handle and keyless entry. I had the previous Santa Fe Sport from 2013 and it was very simple to open keyless by just pressing the door handle button. On this new one, I have had this car for 3 months now and it is hit or miss and just doesn't seem to respond well. Sometimes, it will open and then close again and the most confusing part is opening the door from the passenger side doors. Occasionally, I just give up and have to pull out my key remote to just unlock the door. This should be happening.
Also, the garage door opener under the rearview mirror does not work when the engine is off. This can be very inconvenient for those of us who occasionally need to stay in the car to either take a call or do something on the phone. Unless we keep the engine on (which I would not want to do in the garage), I am unable to close the garage door because the opener becomes deactivated. My previous Santa Fe was still able to use the garage opener even after my car was turned off.
