Roomy and stylish

We purchased this car for its internal space and we are not disappointed! Spacious and roomy enough for 6 adults or 4 adults and two car seats. The controls are well positioned and easy to operate and the app is a great feature. I use the automatic start ALL THE TIME in the summer here in NC. The only negative is the tires. We had to replace one because of defective belts that caused so much shaking and shimmying. Honestly they all should have been done but dealer didn’t see any issue however car still shakes (although not as much). Online searches show this tire to have reported issues, and my husband just had to replace his tires (different car brand and model) but same brand of tire. Hyundai should reevaluate this partner as it is now big expense to replace tires on a year old car. Overall the car is amazing. Good gas mileage on the hybrid version and it looks good too!

Solid Vehicle

Overall a very good choice. We also have a 2022 Santa Fe Hybrid and the addition of the third row was key factor in our decision to buy. The elimination of the loud beeping noise when in reverse on the 2022 was a great improvement. The ability to drive the car without seat belt fastened is a nice convenience when simply moving the car a short distance. Entertainment system is nice but the inability to use your iPhone app while listening to music is very annoying. .

The Everyman's car

The size is perfect, the accessories simple and reliable. But there should be a spare tire. The Tire Mobility kit is useless for blowouts and sidewall leaks.

Not a safe vehicle to drive

In less than one year, the vehicle dashboard started giving warning that the driver assistance system is malfunctioning. After going to the dealer to get it fixed multiple times, they have not able to resolve the issue. Even after opening a case with Hyundai, the problem still persists. The problem happens intermittently but when it happens, the turn signals, tailgate hatch, Auto Hold does not work. Once it put the car in Park mode automatically when it happened. It does not feel safe to drive the car and I plan to sell it. This was my first Hyundai and will be the last.

Not trustworthy

The comfort and driving experience is great, but engine and performance is unreliable. Had to take it in to the dealer 4-5 times to fix the ERG valve sensor issue and at one point, the vehicle totally went into limp mode when I was driving on the highway. I still have no idea why and it was very inconvenient. No check engine light came on, maybe a glitch in software update?

Nice, but could use some improvement

We have owned a number of new Hyundai vehicles, and this has been the best so far. The Calligraphy trim is nice, and the engine and mileage are great. It's very spacious, and the third-row seating is above average. Most of my complaints are related to the electronics — they could make a big leap forward with a few simple software tweaks.
