Awesome fuel economy and ride! Electronics are a miss.

This has been a great car for me. It rides very smooth and the safety features were great. The fuel economy is double what I’m used to in my pick up truck. The only thing holding me back from five stars is the software. My blue link still doesn’t work despite working with customer service to try to fix it. My phone connects strange sometimes if at all.

Almost Great!

The biggest problem with this vehicle is that many it would not turn on and would go straight to N or P and I would have to turn it off and wait a minute or so to get it to start. The mechanic could not find what the problem was and they reset it, but it continued to do the same. It REALLY was not safe, and we had to trade it in. We were hoping Hyundai would have considered it a lemon. We took it in several times.

I love my Santa Fe. My best ride ever!

This car has just perfect. Great design, wonderful features and comfort in all 6 seats. Bit to mention that I average 40mph and have gotten as much as 60mpg with this hybrid. I do wish that it had done a better job with the Bluetooth. That would be the only thing that need improvement. I have an Android and thought perhaps it was my phone. Then linked an iPhone and that sounded just the same, as though I am muffled and under water.

Excellent car. One suggestion - improve the accessibility of the safety belt latch. It is difficult to reach down and connect the seat belt.

Electrical problems

When I bought my car within a month had to bring it back to the dealership service. They had to redo the wire harness that took a month and half fast forward a year and half later. My car check engine light came on than stopped working didn’t want to to turn off. For 20 min than didn’t want to turn on for an hr finally got it back on just to it keep doing the same thing brought it back to the dealership service. They couldn’t figure what’s wrong with now they saying it’s something with electrical. It’s been 2 months and half with no solution in sight still making payments got a loner car that isn’t the same worth of the car.

Car is fine but not great. The mpg rating is a lie and the interior of the car could be bigger and more comfortable. I hate that the only options for seats are plastic or leather. Bring back cloth seats please. The plastic crap they make the seats with cracked less than a week after I bought the vehicle. Overall it has decent features but it's obviously still very cheaply made

Meeting my expectations for a brand new model

The excellent ride the very good fuel economy, and the comfort are all I hope to be and more. The hybrid powertrain seems to be working well I cannot speak for other powertrains. It is a new model, basically from the ground up and therefore is going to have some kinks in it. I had two sensors that failed to throw a code and made the car undrivable at the worst possible time. Eventually, that was worked out to my satisfaction.

Drives beautifully

I absolutely love this vehicle. Recently I rented a BMW on vacation and learned that the Sante Fe I drive handles just as well as a luxury vehicle. The size makes parking a bit challenging at times in tight spots, but overall I’m so pleased with how easily it accelerates, the sensitivity of the breaks, and turning radius are all great features.

Good Car but gas milege way below what is stated on price sticker.

My wife really likes the car. She drives the car most of the time. She says it is comfortable and she likes the safety features. She is disappointed in the gas milege performance. According to the sticker, this vehicle is supposed to ge 34 to 35 miles per gallon. She gets 28 miles per gallon at best.
