Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid

Of all the vehicles I drove, the Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid had the best ride, most comfort, best gas mileage and seemed very well put together. I liked the interior room and the large, easy to open storage area between the seats. That was big enough to hold 4 bottles of water.

I love my Santa FE Hybrid!

I love my new car. I drove so many different models, its hard to describe them all here but for the money- Hyundai gives you amazing technology and a luxury interior at the limited hybrid edition. I was ready to pay the Genesis GV80 price but couldn't get past the horrible gas mileage. I suppose if you want pickup 0-70 and don't care about needing gas every 5 days then maybe its worth the $80,000 price tag. I didn't think it was worth it. The toyota comparison- well lets say toyota is boring and more expensive. I would have stayed with toyota if I had not test drove the limited hybrid edition of the Santa Fe. Just go drive one!

Hybrid mileage on highway is poor

I got 20 mpg on a recent trip, and I did have a headwind. I did not expect such poor mileage. I considered a different vehicle but had difficulty due to low inventory in my region. I found this car online but it was i transit so I did not get to test drive this specific vehicle prior to purchasing. I did drive this model with different features.

I'm not that happy!

I'm not happy about the fuel economy of this hybrid vehicle. I bought this new vehicle on 19th of October 2023. During the first month my fuel economy was 34/33 miles per gallon. But during the second month it drastically dropped to 31-30 miles per gallon. I drown on the same roads and same driving conditions. I use myHyundai website to do remote start of the vehicle. First few times it did work. But not any more. The request goes from my phone. But it does not receive by the vehicle.

Love My Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid

Without a doubt this Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid is the best vehicle I have ever purchased. Just sitting in the driver's seat is like sitting in the cockpit. Everything is right at your fingertips. And as far as comfort, the seats are extremely comfortable. The second row seats are comfortable as well. It has ample storage space in the back with a power lift gate. It was rated at 31 city and 33 highway. But I regularly get as much as 40 mph in town which is what I bought it for. It has definitely made me a better driver. I try and keep my foot off the gas when I can coast and maintain my speed and keep it in the charging mode. The 360 degree cameras are extremely helpful. If you turn on your bliinker to change lanes you can immediately see the lane beside your car before you change lanes. When you park you can hit the 360 degree camera and see if you are completely in the parking space. It has so many features I still haven't had a chance to really use. When you first start the vehicle you also have a front camera for a short distance. Very helpful. Without a doubt this is the most state of the art vehicle on the market. It has the most whistles and bells for the money of any other vehicle. And on top of that it is a stylish vehicle that you will be proud to drive with the sunroof open and the sunlight shinning through.

Purchased the vehicle because of quality, styling and Hyundai's warranty. Impressed with the safety features. After a month, still trying to get comfortable with the information/entertainment features. Disappointed with the fuel economy, which is poor for a hybrid.

Seat Comfort Issues

The overall vehicle looks and handles great. The major issue is that my wife cannot sit in the vehicle for more than 30 minutes without having her tailbone becoming incredibly iritated. When we bought the vehicle, we thought the hardness of the seats would likely soften as we broke them in, but this isn't the case. Everything else on the vehicle is great, but we are now considering taking likely a $12k-$18k financial loss for having to either trade the vehicle in or sell it and buy another new one. Not what we were hoping to have happen

Huyndai would not resolve issue with defect that was hidden at time of delivery

Car was delivered in Va which is 3 hours from house. A defect was hidden at time of delivery. Hyundai and dealers could not figure solution to get it fixed where I live. Simply this is bad customer service and shows that the company does not care very much about customer satisfaction.

Brandon Hyundai sold me a lemon

Brandon Hyundai sold me a lemon. Their customer service sucks. I had to nag and beg for any ETA information on repairs. The dealership stuck me with a downgrade for a loaner. I was without my vehicle for over three months. Customer service was non-existent. Couldn't get anyone to answer the phone or call me back for status of my vehicle. Buying this vehicle was the biggest disappointment ever.

Great dealer to work with. We previously owned a Palisade but like the agility of the Santa Fe

There are 1 or 2 interior appointments we miss from the Palisade, but overall the SantaFe is more fun to drive. We went with the hybrid and it is quite peppy. I enjoy music and the sound system does not disappoint. Road noise is little which also helps. Overall very pleased.

Love this car!

I was looking for a hybrid smaller SUV to replace my seven-seat SUV. I did a lot of research on line to narrow down my choices. Hyundai was recommended to me by my daughter and I had driven hers. I test drove another hybrid, but its legroom was insufficient. I had an extremely positive experience with the Hyundai dealership and was immediately impressed by the car. The test drive confirmed my impression. Once they were able to find the color I wanted [a very important part of my purchase decision!], the deal was struck. I continue to be totally impressed with the car- it gets great mileage, is a wonderful drive and has great safety features. It has great storage space, even though it's a smaller SUV. I'm a total Hyndai fan now!

Santa Fe Hybrid Creaking Sound

Had a creaking noise behind the driver seat rear area. I found online several post about the problem. Printed these out, repair orders from other dealers, and had my dealer look into fixing this. Turns out there is a bracket that is too close to the battery pack and by increasing distance between them, the creaking noise was eliminated. This should have been fixed before delivery.

This car has more features for the price than Honda or Toyota. Looks very stylish and should hold it value for years. Tow of my friends have the saym car and had highly recommended it to me. Glad they did.

Great vehicle except for front seats

Love everything about the vehicle except the front seats. The seat pan bolsters are high and very stiff which causes my sciatica to flare up. That limits my ability to drive long distances. My wife has similar comfort complaints in the passenger seat.

The interior is stylish, but the center console is a sea of buttons, The Santa Fe's cabin is roomy, with a generous rear seat and cargo space. Many standard tech and driver assist features.Fuel economy rates at 36/31 mpg in the efficiency-focused.

ALL around, economical, roomy, comfortable, good looking SUV

The Santa Fe Hybrid is the most proportionally balanced vehicle in all categories. It is the Goldilocks standard,...just right in power, comfort, room, quality of materials and fit and finish, economy, safety, and looks. It can be considered an "only" car if a buyer wants a car that can cover all the bases.
