Couldn't imagine more features that are fun and safety oriented

I love all of the features. The cameras in the side mirrors that give a complete view of the side of the car for which the turn signal is turned on is fabulous. The back up camera and the simultaneous top view camera composite is great and makes backing up so much easier ane safer. The auto hold featue which allows you to keep the car stopped while in drive until you step on the gas is convenient. The beeping sound when in reverse is a nice addition. The sound that results in not having the seatbelt ion when the car is turned on has trained me to put it on before turning on the car instead of waiting until I start driving sometimes. The check the back seat sign before leaving the car. Lane assist. Folding mirrors. Passive ventilation. Air cooled seats and seat warming. I do wish that the car had a donut spare instead of a "repair kit." Choices of displays. Stereo sound.

2023 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid Review

The Santa Fe is a nice vehicle with great pickup. Overall I am pretty pleased with the vehicle but I do have a few disappointments. The instruction manuals for the elaborate electronic display are ridiculously voluminous and I doubt a single buyer has read them completely or could retain 80% of the information if they did. As a result I still do not know how to use much of what is probably available to me. I continue to fear the reliability of the electronics after my warranty expires as I already have had at least one problem that I initially even had trouble getting the dealer to acknowledge existed. I would like the vehicle to have had more leg room for taller drivers. Finally I would not buy another Hyundai vehicle if they lower their warranty as I already needed to have the transmission replaced when the vehicle had only 20,000 miles on it which was certainly disheartening for such an expensive purchase.

Mileage in cool to cold weather is considerably less than warmer weather...44 mpg in summer, 37 or less in fall and winter. Squawk in the passenger side air vent. Also had at least 3 events where the car wouldn't start while away from home. One required a tow truck because it would not go higher than 8 mpg and then quit altogether. No obvious reason for this.

So glad I got the '23 model, 2024 model is way too boxy. Anyway....thoroughly enjoying my vehicle. Very easy on the eye and running pretty smooth.

Would change door opening. Much preferred my old Santa Fe system when you push the little spot to open door. it was much safer and faster and never failed me. With this new system I often have to dig out my remote to get in, which is very inconvenient. When it does let me in, it often takes two or three tugs on the handle to open. It also unlocks the door if I pass by to go somewhere else, when I don't want it open. I would also prefer a smaller SUV that would be a better fit for my garage.

My 2023 Santa Fe Hybrid

Like the car overall, but still have questions about the wires that Marhoffer service says were "cut" therefore not covered under warranty. There is no reasonable explanation as to who or why they would be cut. Still suspect high cycle fatigue. Wondering if others have had this problem. The other issue that irritates me is that in rain or snow all of the cameras become useless because of the rain or snow on them rendering that safety feature inoperable in conditions where they are most needed. Can't they be mounted someway to shield them? We had a 2014 Kia Sorrento that we did not have this problem with on the back up camera. If it could be done on it why not on this vehicle?
