I purchased my 2023 Santa Fe on January 2, 2024 because I really dislike the revised styling of the 2024/2025 model and it was also the last day to qualify for 0% financing. My prior vehicle was a 2017 Lincoln MKX and thus far this Santa Fe Hybrid is better than the Lincoln in most areas. While I like the overall styling of the Lincoln more, the Santa Fe makes up for that in mileage that is twice what I was experiencing with the Lincoln. Although I have been driving the Santa Fe for twenty months now and have had no issues I am still getting used to a few things so I am still a bit cautious. I had what I consider to be significant problems with the Lincoln and while MOST were taken care of by the dealer including three left front axels and a transmission rebuild after years of complaining several were not. Those include a complete failure of the steering electronics shortly after the warranty that required replacement steering wheel and associated electronics at a cost of almost $5000. Based on my past experience and from what I read online in various forums my concern is that should I require service beyond normal maintenance that both Hyundai and the Dealer network would not handle it very well and it would be difficult to get things resolved. I am impressed with the warranty and it is one of the main reasons I purchased the Santa Fe. However, if Hyundai and/or the Dealers do not stand behind it, it is basically useless. Understand, I have not had any problems at this point let's hope that continues for as long as I own the vehicle which I hope is a long long time. My Granddaughters have a Kia Sportage Hybrid 2023 and a Hyundai Tucson Hybrid 2024 and both have the same engine and transmission as my Santa Fe.

2023 sante fe hybrid review

A 2 year old car with 26k miles should not need the rear differential replaced. Poorly designed interior - The space under the gears/ dash is hard to access, the child lock on the door is a terrible location and is pushed inadvertently all the time risking locking passengers in the car.

Nice comfortable vehicle that gets great mileage for an SUV

Nice comfortable SUV; big enough to fit 3 car seats in the back seat; comfortable ride. Good MPG for an SUV (36 mpg). Smooth ride with enough acceleration. So far no problems with the vehicle.

Happy with my Santa Fe hybrid

Now that I have driven my Santa Fe hybrid for more than one year, I have come to appreciate it various amenities. Comfort, fuel economy are exactly what I was looking for in my current vehicle. It has proven to be trouble, free transportation.

We purchased on January 2, 2023. My wife is the main driver. She enjoys the SUV very much. Easy to maneuver and park. Smooth quiet ride an excellent fuel mileage. Includes a lot of safety features, such as accident avoidance and lane management. The cruise control works very well. The seats are fully adjustable and comfortable. The quality is as good as our Toyota Highlander! The Hybrid system returns 34-37 mpg!!
