My dream car

I am very pleased with my new Hyundai calligraphy. it was between a Hyundai and Telluride. I decided to go with the Hyundai this time because of its high rating with Edmunds. also, I like the technology and the safety features. I also like the fact that the interior is real leather and not synthetic. I can’t think of anything I dislike about this car other than the fact that it’s smarter than me! Every day I find out something new this car knows how to do.

mostly familiar

this vehicle replaces the 2020 model I owned. most things work the same but some changes are good and some not good. the start/stop button and the shifting are not comfortable to use since they are poorly placed. the safety and convenience features are good

Great when I can drive it

Wonderful interior, all the amenities make it feel luxurious. It has been in the shop twice in less than 4 months for multiple issues, check engine light etc.

My Take

At the moment I am not pleased at all, I usually like doing the surveys after I have had the vehicle 6 months but since I have had issues, I am doing it now. First issue, the Active Air Flow system wasn't working properly, took to the shop, parts were ordered, went to have parts put on February 27th only to be told those were already recalled and had to be reordered. Went back the next week and parts were installed. 2nd issue occurred on Monday May, 4th, went back to shop to find out that there was some kind of software glitch. Was advised a tech would have to come out to fix, so just before having the vehicle three months and not even 1100 miles on it and it is still at Hyundai in Jasper and have not heard anything yet. To add insult to injury I was loaned a Kona nowhere near the size of my purchased vehicle so needless to say I am not happy and my wife certainly isn't since she drives it.

Love this vehicle

This is my third Palisade and it's the best one yet. Features are maxed out, style is phenomenal. I would highly recommend this vehicle.

Review of Palisade

Like the vehicle but there are a few things that could be improved. The area where you start the heated seats, recycle air, or turn on the AC is sometimes difficult to see because of glare when it is sunny outside.

Second Hyundai opportunity

Previously owned a Sonata and it was a lemon and Hyundaibought it back. Saw the updated Pallisade and thought I would give Hyundai a second chance....huge mistake.

Nice car- not perfect

Overall a good vehicle- rides and handles well, styling is great,, interior is well thought out and comfortable. Radio quality for a premium Bose is just average- really was expecting more clarity and range. Road and wind noise level is great. I have never been a fan of the push button start as sometimes you just don't know if the engine is on or not, and this design is particularly troubling because you can't even see the start button in a normal seated position. Seats are very comfortable- I love the massage function. Heated seats and steering wheel are great. The bluetooth connection time on the digital key is slow and intermittent- sometimes the doors unlock, sometimes they don't. Overall one of the better cars I have owned.
