Great until you start looking closely

Interior, features, and comfort are the highlights but the power train tuning is absolutely horrible. The car stutters in certain situations and is frequently in the wrong gear especially after turning. Also some weird things such as why does auto start / stop turn the engine back ON when you put the car in park to turn it off? Why put a silver accent on the top of the gauge cluster so that it reflects a silver line across the windshield? Why isn't the key fob associated with the driver profiles and seat memory? Instead the profiles and seat memory is useless because you can't change the profile until after you've started the car and been pushed into the steering wheel from using the wrong profile at startup.

Excellent vehicle

It has been driven 20,000 miles without any issues. Very, very hair with my decision to buy this vehicle. Being in snow belt country I would have been happy to pay an upcharge to get snow rated all season tires.

Great Value

Great value for the money. With the exception of the Kia Telluride (virtually the same car), you can't get this many features, this level of comfort, and a 10 year warranty at this price point.

Tire air pressure monitor problem

Only problem after 11/2 years is a tire pressure monitor that leaks air. Reported to dealer at service interval, but they just checked for nail, not the monitor. Pressure drops 10 psi over a period of a week or so and stays at that (35 psi down to 25psi ).

Great vehicle

The Palisade is a great vehicle. The only drawbacks are that lower models do not have the chrome grill, and wind noise while driving.

Palisade Calligraphy

Great value! Missing Auto fold in mirrors and key fob that tells the car who is driving. Also, gas mileage is poor. And wireless carplay would be very nice. Very comfortable and overall well appointed.

Seat Belt Recall is NOT mitigated since Fall of 2025!

We have been notified since fall of 2025 that the seat belts in the vehicle are not safe and need to be fixed for a recall. There has been no appointment set to fix that nor a loaner car. We are not happy with this mitigation. It is Hyundai now liable if anything happens with our seatbelts in our car in the case of an accident. We hope and pray that does not happen.

Nice ride

it gives me joy to get into my car and to drive it to work. The cameras make it easy to park in smaller spaces... the different driving modes give you the ability to zoom or take a more relaxed approach. the automatic dimming of the dash is the thorn in my eye

My least favorite new car ever...

Redundant systems. Mediocre ride. Paint on grill chips too easily. Already had a sensor system go out that dealer tried to blame me on. I barely drive this car as it gives me no pleasure. Pretty to sit in or look at not loving using it!

Great Vehicle Less Than Smooth Ride

I like all the accessories. Beautiful vehicle, but surprised with the ride. Very bumpy. Also, it did not have Apple Play. You would think this expensive of a model would have that feature.

I love my Palisade!

I love the room inside the cabin. I love the safety features that help while driving. And, I LOVE the cameras - especially the overhead camera. It is comfortable, there is plenty of room in each row for all passengers. I used to own a VW Atlas. I paid pretty much the same for my Palisade and there is NO comparison. So, I have to add it is a great value for the price in this category of vehicles. Plus, I love the color. I went with the dark blue :-)

Excellent vehicle Linus a few small things

Overall, this SUV is everything I could ask for. It’s spacious, low maintenance, and have many convenient features. One thing, albeit small, I wish it had were sunglasses holder behind the pop down mirror in front. Wireless car play would also be a nice feature as the wireless feature is not responsive at all.

Is in the shop a lot for the same problem

Love my car, has all the bells and whistles. Luxury on a budget. However, the quality does not seem to be the greatest. I have only had my car for less than 4 months and it’s been to the dealer multiple times for the same exact side view mirror sensor and I’ve been in a loaner vehicle for 3 weeks and the issue remains unresolved at this time

Second time around with a great Hyudai product---the Palisade

This is my second Palisade, the 2025 Palisade is the deluxe model, Calligraphy model, which I do not think was available with my first Palisade which was a 2020 model. I put an absolutely trouble-free 60,000 miles on that first car in less than 48 months. Because of Hyundai's quality and also their 'free' coverage for most of those 40+ months, my only costs were a couple of oil changes AFTER the initial warranty ended. THAT is quality 'built in'. I have just over twenty thousand miles on the 'new' 2024 whicn I purchased in May of 2024. Not bad driving for a 78 year old. These two Hyundai's were my 20th and 21st new car purchase and I had ONLY chosen a non American-branded vehicle once before. I had purchased and driven a total of seven Lincolns---all models---prior to these two Hyundai purchases. My local dealer, Napleton of Carmel Hyundai contines to provide excellent support and basic maintenance; but again, I have only had the car 'back' in the shop for oil changes and tire rotations---all of which are covered under Hyundai's excellent new-car warranty. I might 'move up' to the Genesis, now that they have a three row model; but, to be honest, I don't know 'why' right now because I am "just that completely happy" with my Palisade.
