Palisade Limited is pure luxury, except for the stock tires

I have hade my 2026 Palisade Limited for 4 months, the ride quality and quiet cabin are very impressive. The safety cameras and technology are excellent. The cons are the center console is a little small and awkward to utilize due to the door opening position, the Calligraphy has a much better setup with double doors. Winter driving in snow is not as expected due to the low quality Kumho tires that has a poor snow rating. At an MSRP over $53,000 I would have expected a better snow rated tire on a AWD SUV. I'm replacing the tires tomorrow with Michelin Crossclimate 2 tires at a cost of $1,300 which should not be necessary. My overall opinion of the vehicle is still excellent.

A $60,000 "junker", broken down, no help from dealership.

With less than 2,000 miles driven, the check engine light is on, and the vehicle can't accelerate enough to merge on a freeway. The dealership (Miller - Peoria, IL) won't look at the car until Feb 25 - a full 4 weeks in the future. What's more, they won't offer me any type of loaner vehicle in place of this brand-new vehicle which has broken down. They expect me to rent a replacement car! This is outrageous. I expected some form of "service recovery" in this situation. Instead, I am disgusted and insulted. If anybody actually reads this, HELP!

I love the vehicle

The gas mileage is not what is printed or what I was told. When I haul groceries from Sam’s, I am loaded. The back row seats don’t lay flat and just different from loading in other vehicle I use to have. I will learn and get use to it. Boxes help control stuff falling over. I love the vehicle and features.

Good but some issues with functionality and quality

My battery on my brand new 2026 battery died within the month I purchased it. The second row doors never close correctly and firmly. The unlock feature with your key or phone never works as you approach your car. The open trunk button is on the side of my key which is strange. I want to love it but I just want my old Pallisade back.

Lemon and Horrible Service

Purchased car, 1 month later it was parked in a garage during a storm with some lightning. The next morning a ton of electrical went out. The dealership couldnt figure it out and we had to go through lemon law procedures. Our case manager told us not to make additional payments on the loan (which we have a recording of the conversation) since they had already had a payoff amount and we signed a bill of sale back to Hyundai. A week later I started getting late payment collection calls from Hyundai Finance. They said they had reported a late payment to the credit bureaus. I was furious. When we confronted the case manager about this, he stopped taking our calls. We had to pull teeth to get this returned. No one at the dealership ever called to see how we were doing or express any concern that we had a lemon. I'll never buy a Hyundai again.

Awesome vehicle; just a bit underpowered

All in all, the car is fantastic. The finishes and features are well beyond what you would expect for what you pay, and the car looks damn good. My only complaint would be the engine, as it's very sluggish, particularly when accelerating from a standing position. In the city, I place the vehicle in 'Sport' mode to keep the RPM's up a bit, as this helps (not enough though).

Best Palisade Yet!

The new body style and extra size is awesome. My husband and I love the lights. The leather quality is top notch and so much more comfortable than other cars I’ve been in. The new zero gravity comfort seats are amazing! They have made road trips so much better for me given that I have back issues. The Palisade still has the most 3rd row space of any SUV. My husband loves the new gear shift design, I do not. My main critique is the placement of the camera view button when parking. It’s too far away from the driver’s side. Would be great if it were on the steering wheel. Still my favorite Palisade!

A very stylish and comfortable vehicle

This vehicle is turning heads of other vehicle owners. We did not make it home from the dealer the first time before a person asked about this Palisade. An owner of an older version stopped us and swoon over the car. He was happy with his current car but was amazed at the "new look". The car attracts attention. It rides smooth and has some power to move on the highway when we need it.

Awesome SUV

Love all the features this car has! I find new ones all the time. Lots of safety features and I love that all the seating is electric and can be adjusted from the front or back of the car. Drives Beautifully.

I love the new features and style.

I bought a new 2020 palasade and now this new 2026. I love the new features and new design. One thing that I am a little disappointed with again is the road noise. I was hoping with another new one that it would have changed. But in my opinion it still has alot of road noise.
