Good but a few things wrong
Overall the vehicle is good. Seems to drive well in the winter. Putting back seats up and down is easy. Unfortunately there already 2 recalls and the second will take 3 hours, which is not good. The cup holders/storage spaces are horrible. When my daughter wants to charge her phone, it automatically switches to Car play, but I don’t want it to. The “consider taking a break alarm” is not able to be shut off which is very annoying when driving on windy roads in MN. 2 other people who drives Palisades have said the same things. The start option from the key fob does not work well. Using the app is fine, but I don’t always have my phone, and it takes awhile to send the signal.
I drove minivans for almost 15 years, and for the storage and ease of having children, and a dog, I would be tempted to go back, even if it meant less power and towing capability. This Palisade was the first vehicle I have ever bought new. The warranty will hopefully be worth it.
