I own my first palisade only six days before another car pulled in front of me causing me to react and drove directly into a telephone pole deploying two air bags and totaling the vehicle. I never had a bruise or hurt in any way. I walked over to the other driver to see if they were alright. I bought a second palisade a week later.

Right choice

I drive Oddsey before my Hyundai My Hyundai is good looking in side and out, comfortable , impressive and ride is fun , driving is even more fun , my family and friends love it , service dept is some time slow , but over all ???

excellent in every way!

I shopped around, saw the Explorer, Highlander and several others. The Palisade was love at first sight! The exterior is quite conservative but handsome! the interior is perfect! The dashboard is one clean flow with the screens integrated rather than breaking the smooth line. The seats are very comfortable, I appreciate the extended knee support for the driver. The performance is spirited and better than one might expect from a fairly large suv. Mileage is also good averaging around 25mpg and up to 30mpg on the highway.

Our families have owned and own 7 Hyundai’s my first. I have good luck with mine after 2 years. My grandson has a 2018 value edition and has no problems just normal maintenance. He bought new battery and tires in 2023. I’m happy with my first Palisade. Of course never happy about price, but compared to other US manufacturers of the same size is a bargain for what you get. Even drives itself.

All my friends that ride in my Palisade like it an impressive performance. They’re impressed how it drives by itself. Especially you are a little tired. Should get a coffee as soon as possible. I play in bands an is great size for my equipment. One time in a cold rain storm in September in Ohio I drove 55 miles from a job doing 60 to 73 mph mostly on auto drive I got 32.4 mpg. I took a video of it. Of course was on a freeway from Akron to Youngstown Ohio. I get mostly 25 to 25 driving 75 to 85. My buddy got 29.9 when I had too much to drink. Of course he drives like a grandma. I sent him a video of my beating his record. I was alone that day. I had to video because it disappeared too fast for a snap shot . Otherwise would of been 34.9.

So far so good

My first Hyundai. I have had Toyotas and Lexus for the past 15 years and loved every one of them. I needed the 3rd row seating with leather interior and Toyota had nothing in stock during the car shortage in 2023, and the Lexus was too pricey. So far I have been very pleased with my decision. The vehicle is very comfy and has more bells and whistles than any previous owned vehicle. 2 years in and I have only needed scheduled maintenance and one recall that they took of at no expense to me.

Customer service at Rick Case Duluth. Ga. Perfect buy, perfect service.

Have had the car for over a year and half, not one problem. Have used all camera's, all buttons and driven it for over 14K miles, long drives, from Ga to SD and to FL, very comfortable, good gas mileage. Have had no problems and love this vehicle.

Good family sedan

I like this car and I have several higher end cars for comparison. This car is comfortable to drive over long distances with good fuel consumption and I would recommend it for family use. I only have 10000mi on it in a year and a half and almost all those miles are long 800 mi trips.

It is growing on me

Taking time to get used to its smaller size than my old Yukon XL, but it is growing on me. I love the self driving part on trips. It just needs to be completely self driving. 30,000 miles and only had one problem, rear slip-joint, and dealer fixed it quickly and under warranty.

Awesome drive for the money

Great car to drive. Has lots of options. I would have never believed coming from a Benz to this would be so good. Still love a Benz, but this car was a huge surprise. I'd recommend the Palisade to anyone looking for a smooth, quiet ride from a 3 row seating car.

Love at first sight

I purchased this vehicle because it looked amazing. After 2 minutes on the test drive, I knew this was the one I wanted. It drives as smooth as silk and has all the features I wanted in a vehicle. I highly recommend the Palisade.

The Palisade is Pretty Terrific but Could Use Some Polishes

The comfort and styling of the Hyundai Palisade is phenomenol for the price. 3rd row seating, excellent gas mileage (for it's size; better than the Grand Cherokee and it's bigger than the GC), great luxe details for the price, and so satisfying to drive BUT just a few little things could make it so much better. Power driver and passenger seats are amazing (love that driver profile option with seat position) but why not have a telescoping steering wheel in addition to the up/down option. I'm not a huge fan of the display screen either - the fingerprints are horrible; could really use a fingerprint resistant screen. The "leather-like" seats are close to leather but just not quite there but they are easier to clean than leather so that could work for a family with "littles". All in all it looks good and feels good especially for the price. A Hyundai may not have the cache of a upper-end Explorer but it definitely competes in looks and value.

Customer service at dealer showroom is extremely poor.

Customer service at dealer showroom is extremely poor. Had to wait for 3 hours for a oil change and with an appointments. To show a defect, the wait time for an appointment is one month. How can Hyundai expect customer to run the car with a defect for one month ?

Love the car so much, but service not so much

My 23 palisade is great and reliable. It's comfortable and I love it. Then with the expected warranty it was a no brainer. But then trying to stay on top of maintenance as I do with my vehicles, I would arrive to my appointment to only be told it's not covered. Very little explanation. Fine I paid it. Then at 29000, I showed up for that to happen again and $1300 of recommended maintenance (hadn't even looked at car). Ask why again it's not covered.. response was "I don't know that's what the computer say". Okay I just left.. I was so mad. I called and spoke to a manager. He said let me get to the bottom of this . Never called back. I emailed them, no response. I'm getting it on with another location, and very worried what obstacle will be pulled this time. I love my car, but the lack of knowledge about the warranty and customer service is enough to find an outside place to continue maintenence on my car.

Palisade calligraphy edition

Vehicle is great if you’re looking for a midsize vehicle that has an added feature of a third row seating that is heated best in its class if you want the top-of-the-line this is the way to go the calligraphy edition it even has a James Bond feature where you can actually remote control forward and backward with your remote and without you being in the vehicle in case you need to move.

Comfort and Quality

In the first year of driving over 15000 miles it exceeded my expectations. No problems were experienced at all. And the mileage far exceeds the rating as I drive about 40 miles one way. Average both ways is usually around 27-28 mpg sometimes better highest has actually been around 32 all open road and non stop.

A very reliable car

Vehicle for a year now and I have become accustomed to my new car and enjoy it. The console/armrest still is not some thing I like, but I have adapted.. It’s push button. Control panel isn’t favorable But again, I am adapting.

Fantastic Car

This is my second Palisade, bette r than the first. Drives better and rides better. The seat massage is over the top. Lane control is a little loose compared to my last Palisade but adequate. Overall excellent automobile.

Lemon Law Buyback

At 12 months of ownership and 6,000 miles transmission froze up and was grinding. Vehicle had to be towed. New transmission required. Infotainment screen flickered and had would go dark for days at a time. New screen and computer required. Air conditioner leaking fluid and not maintaining temperature. Required air conditioner replacement.
