Almost Perfect

Overall, this is the best vehicle I have ever owned (and I have owned several vehicles in my 75 years). I love the surround view camera and the blind spot cameras. The voice commands understand standard language. The ride is smooth, comfortable, and quiet. The features are many and work flawlessly. And you can't beat the warranty! There is nothing technically wrong with the vehicle. However, there are some features that are available on vehicles that I've owned that are not available on tis vehicle. First, auto door locking. This is an option that I can turn on or off on my other vehicle that I wish this vehicle had. Second, the radio is fantastic! However, I would like the ability to replay what was just played on the radio. (Like a news story that was interrupted by the GPS.) Third, the Highway assist automatically adjusts the speed to the posted speed limit - Great! However, it sometimes changes it to the slower "truck speed limit". Would I buy another Palisade? Definitely!!

Leased the last 2.5yrs and Palisade has been a hassle-free car for me and my family. I'd love the see if there are full EV versions in the future with wider wheel base. I've used for moving and house projects and the wheel well on the interior minimizes the width of getting things in the car when both seats are down.

Decent price and space. Semi dependable.

I really like the vehicle’s style, price, and available upgrades. It’s easy to drive and has plenty of space. However, I did run into some issues: after about a year and a half, the alternator went out while I was on the road, and I’ve already had to replace the battery. The recall repairs also took an extremely long time to get resolved. On top of that, the service centers in my area are difficult to deal with—the representatives are rude and don’t provide clear information.

Major repairs to Airbag and rear differential coupler

8/16/25; My 2023 Palisade has already had the drivers airbag replaced along with 2 failures of the red differential coupler. And BlueLink has my name wrong and unwilling to correct it.

DO NOT BUY A HYUNDAI

I am absolutely livid with Hyundai. I spent $52,000 on a brand new 2023 Hyundai Palisade, and the paint started chipping early on. My wife took it to our Hyundai dealer and showed them the paint chip on the hood. The car had 32,000 miles on it, but they told her there was nothing they could do for her. It was clearly under warranty for 36,000 miles, but they didn't help. Now it's at 43,000 miles and Hyundai National is telling us it's our problem, not there's. DO NOT BELIEVE THE LIES THAT THIS IS AMERICA'S BEST WARRANTY. THEY PUT THE WORDS ON THE PAPER BUT DO NOT HONOR IT WHEN PUSH COMES TO SHOVE.

Good Size family car

Good driving control and good features in caligraphy. few issues - there is little gap for the driver to reach to trash area on left when the door is closed. the seat is so close to the door, its hard to reach to bottle or trash area on the door.

Good overall

Don’t like issues about second row windows have a foggy look all the time in the sunlight. Seems like Hyundai doesn’t care So far other issues taken care of. Time will tell.

Good ride and beautiful interior not w/o flaws

Although our Palisade was a step up from our 2008 Sienna it is still has flaws that cannot be overlooked. 1) Weak windshield They do that to up sell thier glass coverage at purchase, we didn't buy it. Our windshield was cracked within 3 weeks and it costs a small fortune to replace. 2) safety features that actually put you in harms way. Our vehicle has tosses us into the other lane at various speeds for unknown reasons. The sensors are a hit or miss both during parking and active driving situations. You get too little or an over abundance of reaction from them. 3) Poor paint. Our vehicle is rusting from under the paint working its way up. We have tiny pin point volcanoes all over the car. Otherwise it's a solid ride with a great interior. We don't love it enough to not be on the lookout for another Toyota.

Great vehicle with a few compromises

Drives great, very comfortable, great features at the price points. Larger and clearer displays than many competitors at the time of my purchase. Unfortunately tires from factory are poor, and there is little-to-no underbody shielding which competitors have (making Palisade more prone to rust and less off-road worthy).
