Best vehicle for ride comfort and control

Beautiful vehicle, fun to drive, the benefits of a EV with fast starts and higher gas mileage The interior is beautiful, the floating armrest is absolutely the best i have seen The controls are easy to use

Parasitic battery issue. Bad dealer

I love the car. Except it has an issue where the battery drains. Probably the walk away feature. On top of that- when the battery was stone fed, the BMS failed. The dealer has tried to get me to say I mis-jumped it several times. Blaming me for the issue that should obviously be under warranty. My brand new calligraphy has been in the shop for over 30 days before they even gave me a loaner (not the same caliber vehicle btw).

My palisade is currently at dealership for 8 days because of a very serious safety recall. My experience has been terrible with the handling of this by dealership and corporate.

The Family Dream

The family enjoys the comfort and luxury the vehicle provides. There is plenty of room for every family member and the seats are comfortable for longer trips. Storage is great for grocery trips as well as small gardening-supplies storage and transport.

2026 Palisade Hybrid Calligraphy - a near triumph

The Palisade has a beautiful interior with great comfort, excellent technology and distinctive exterior styling - all of which attracted us to it. This is our 3rd Hyundai (we had a 2021 Palisade that we traded in for this one, and still have a 2022 Santa Cruz). Our enthusiasm for the car waned pretty quickly though as we had two mechanical issues with in the first 2 months of having the car. First, one of the air vents on the front grill malfunctioned in an "always open" position, which eventually lead to several powertrain malfunction notices resulting in us having to leave our car at the dealership for two weeks. Then, our battery died and turned out to be faulty which we discovered after 4 days of not driving during a blizzard/snow storm that shuttered us for a week. Needless to say, it was not ideal to have this type of experience on a $60k+ car. The dealership (Mike Camlin Hyundai) was mostly very good to deal with - though they did initially resist giving us a loaner car even while we were getting "critical malfunction" messages and being told by the car to take it in immediately and we had to insist - but our experience has been somewhat spoiled by these issues. That said, since the battery was replaced in late January we have not had any further issues and are hoping that remains the case.

Very good SVU

Very good vehicle that could be the best if it was just more user friendly. After 6 weeks of reading the manual and watching u tube videos I still lack knowledge of so many features.

Excellent to outstanding vehicle.

My Wife and I have been enjoying our Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy Hybrid for four months, and we could not be more satisfied. We both enjoy riding and driving our SUV on long and short trips. We get very good gas mileage for a vehicle of this size, and the ride is excellent. Even the turning radius can't be beat. The leather interior is well thought out and the seats are so comfortable, even on long drives. I love the drivers seat heat and massage for long drives, and the rear Captains chairs are comfortable too.

Nice ride. Some quirks

I like most things about the car. Acceleration up and down hills can linger in too low of a gear. Stopping is a little jerky and so is starting from a stop.

Very happy with my new suv hybrid!

I love the functionality, space, and size of this hybrid. The 3rd row lays down very easily and 2nd row captains chairs move forward with an easy pull of a lever. I do wish the drivers seat, and steering wheel, moved down just a little more. I’m a 5’ 6” female, so not short, but I unfortunately have to move a little too close to the steering wheel than I like to reach the gas pedal. The jolt/brake alert when reversing with absolutely nothing behind the car is bit jarring for sure. The car apparently jolt brakes after reversing at some unknown distance making it feel like I’ve hit something but there’s absolutely nothing there. It freaks me out every single time even though I’m looking in the rearview mirror and watching the backup camera see nothing.

Fun to drive but a few quirks...

I love the vehicle. There is so muh to love about the Palisade-performance, power, all the bells and whistles. With that said the cup holders do not hold cups steady and the camera button is too far away.

Could improve

Really not happy with the safety oversight in the 2nd and 3rd row power seats. This vehicle seems dangerous right now as I have a young child sitting back there. I question what else was overlooked or not added to lower the manufacturing cost. I would like to see better MPG and EV use with this vehicle. I’m not quite getting the 30MPG as listed on the sticker.

Horrible Wiper Fluid Sprayer

The wiper fluid sprayers barely gets fluid on the windshield. It sprays extremely close to the bottom of the windshield. I have been refilling the reservoirs almost weekly when I use it because so much fluid is needed to clean the windshield. I already contact and opened a case with Hyundai. Was told it was sent to Engineering and they said it’s normal operation. I even sent a video showing how bad it is. Very disappointed with the way this works. Hoping the poorly designed sprayers does not result in an accident. Am also very disappointed with Hyundai’s reply.
