Windsheilds break

2024 kona. On second windsheild, 30 k on vehicle and my second windsheild is cracked as well.

I’ve had issues with this vehicle that hav since been resolved.

Shifter Malfunction was a major issue until they resolved it completely which took months and months. Engineers had to get involved and Westlake Village maybe wasn’t equipped.

Beautiful car, great ride

This is the best car I've ever had, it looks good and performs well. For a smaller suv, it has a lot of power, really easy on gas, and has so much space..Best of all, it's one of the prettiest vehicles around.. I highly the Kona (this is my 2nd one).

i hate it

I hate the Kona .. car play barely works .. blue tooth barely works .. the vehicle overall sucks.

The KONA is a great car

Great car with a few caveat's. When the turn signal is on, the speedometer or odometer turns into a camera to see the blindspots. These camera views are way too dim, the same camera rearward view on my 2022 Tucson is much brighter. Why did you dim it down the blindspot camera on the newer models. The feature is almost useless on the KONA, and especially at night. My KONA is the Limited model. Why no seat memory? Last thing, the headrests are incredibly uncomfortable as they tilt forward too much, and you can't rest your head comfortably. It keeps your head positioned uncomfortably too far forward. I will not buy another Kona, or any Hyundai that is built with the above mentioned issues. And, I have owned nothing but Hyundais since 2000 - I love my 2022 Tucson Limited, but you have gone backwards in some areas mentioned above.

It's not reliable and it has a small gas tank

The majority of the car is a 7, but I'm rating it at a 2 out of 5 today because the car shuts off in the middle of a drive. We have brought it to the dealership and explained our issues. The mechanics don't take our issues seriously. They "charged" our battery, that's it. When I'm driving 65mph down the highway or 35 mph down Green River Rd. it will shut off and I have to coast it to the side of the road or into a parking lot. It's not just me, my boyfriend drives it too and he said it has happened to him too. The entire car shuts off, there's no acceleration and the entire dash shuts off. Also, the gas tank is super small, especially for the size of the car. We went from a 16.4 gallon with our 2017 Hyundai Tucson, to a 12.4 gallons in the Hyundai Kona. I'm sure there's other things I'm missing out on. Like when they told us we got 5 years, free oil changes and then when we got to 39k miles, they changed their minds. The mechanics said "I don't know why the sales guys said that, but it's only 36k miles and then you can't get anymore done."

Could be better

Beautiful car with great interior design but the dashboard screen turns off on its own and it’s scary when you are driving cuz what if the car turns off in the middle of the road.

No the old Kona!!!

You redesigned Kona to make it larger. I lived the size if Kona 2020 to 2023. In face t lease the 2924 and dislike how big n busy it is!! I will turn it in and seek to purchase a used 2023 Kona , low mileage as loved that design. Why ruin it by making it so big??

A Good First Car

This is a good car. I have had a problem with the date counter which calculates time between each annual service date. This calculator hasn’t worked since I got the car 11/5/2024. My first service date of 11/2025, the calculator was adjusted but it never worked and went back to displaying a negative number and it shows an error message which suggests I’m late for a service but I’m not. It’s annoying. The car keeps good gas mileage which is great. The trunk space is small but works. This Kona 2024 is a small SUV which can only accommodate two people in back seatings but it has seat belts for three people. Overall, it’s a great first car.

It is not comfortable.

It isn't comfortable. The car's rear suspension doesn't absorb shocks well; when driving over a pothole, the impact feels very harsh—it doesn't feel like a new car. I took it to the dealership to have the rear shock absorbers checked, and they told me everything was fine; consequently, I am not happy with this car, as it is very uncomfortable to drive.
