Not a Fan

The only reason I rated the vehicle at a 2 was because the car did what it was supposed to do and kept my daughter alive when she was in an accident. Other than that it is not a good car and I would never purchase one again. The car had electrical issues when I purchased it landing it in the shop for over 2 months 6 weeks after purchasing the car. Hyundai could never explain what happened. It appears they replaced something in hopes it fixed the issue. On another occasion, I was driving and the headlights and dashboard lights went out leaving me in complete darkness. While this only lasted a few seconds, it was a horrific experience. Once again I was told that they could not explain.

I actually give it a 4 1/2

You don’t have halves for a selection so I gave it a four. It took me a while to get used to the way it handles but once I did, I love it. It’s heavier than my previous car which I love now. I’m not happy that I was told I had a FULL SIZE spare tire. I had a flat and only then did I find out it’s the donut and not full size. I don’t like being lied to.

Perfect with no issues..Exceeded all my expectations

Perfect with no issues..Exceeded all my expectations. Great color inside and out. Very good acceleration Only wish it had folding mirrors and heated rear seats.

Great ride

I've always owned a Hyundai. This one is one of my favorites. Nice, sporty ride. This one is definitely on the lower end of power and comfort as compared to other Hyundai models I've owned (Tucson and Santa Fe). Because of this, I would have expected the price to be significantly lower than it was.

Over all love the vehicle but for one thing, approx. every 4 months the battery is dead. It has nothing to do with how much one drives it. One time it had set for 48 hrs and the battery was dead, another time I have driven it almost 100 miles and the next day the battery was dead. The only thing I can think of is it has something to do with some sort of update on the info system. The approx 4 month clock seems to have started approx 2 wks from date I purchased it: it was purchased in march, july dead battery, November dead battery, following march dead battery. I am now looking forward to july. I have purchased a battery jumper from amazon for the purpose of dealing with this issue. This is also the only reason I cannot recommend this vehicle to others.

Love my Hyundai

The service department really took the time to make an appointment that fit my busy schedule. The wait time while my car was being serviced was a little long but the waiting room was comfortable. I even grabbed a couple of snacks on the way out. 😊

Great little SUVZ

Great little SUV. generally does around 30 mpg, as long as its not driven over 70 and you use the smart cruise control. the 1.6 turbo is awesome, but it definitely degrades the gas milage. Definitely has a ton of features and the screens are great. One thing I do wish the car had was a Smart mode like the other models do (My tucson would generally do 35 - 40 MPG using Smart mode and it was not hybrid) but having the Snow mode is a life savor when it does snow and I need to go to work. the AWD and Snow mode is definitely top tier and handles very well. Seats are not as plush as my Tucson seats were but are still comfortable, and the Heated and Ventilated seats work like a charm. Overall great compact SUV.

Junk !! Do not buy a Hyundai product !!!

Recalls !! junk !! 10 year warranty but they can't get parts or fix for months .. what is the point !!! Stay Away ... You have been warned !! I was loyal to this brand until I had issues and realize the warranty means nothing if you get serviced or parts !!

I absolutely love my car

I absolutely love everything about my car it truly feels like it was made just for me. From my initials embroidered in the seats to seeing them in the group numbers, VIN, and sticker numbers, the personal touches are incredible. I’m proud to be the first owner, and when I received it, it had only 11 miles on it. This is my very first car, and I couldn’t have asked for a better one. Everywhere I go, people compliment it and ask what kind of car it is because of how sleek and unique it looks. I’d rate it a 1000/10 without hesitation!

I love my Kona!

The only complaint I have with my Kona is the frequency with which my Apple CarPlay loses connection. It is not very consequentional when I am listening to music, but a total disaster if it disconnects while I'm using directions for driving. The connection is lost just about every day that I use my car. I have to plug and unplug connections multiple times and hope connectivity is restored. I otherwise love the car; especially the safety features.

Our second Kona!

We loved our 2021 Kona so much, we bought another one after an accident. Our 2021 Kona kept us safe during a rear end collision so the decision was easy to buy a 2024 Kona as a replacement vehicle. The car is safe, smart, and easy to drive. We love it!

Kona review

I totally enjoy my Kona, I love the styling and all features of this vehicle. I only have two complaints about my Kona. 1. My passenger rear panel has come apart from the body. It appears that not enough automotive adhesive was used to secure it properly. 2. The hood is not aligned properly. I will be taking it to the dealer to see what can be done to correct the issues.

Car had paint damage not visible during the delivery. Hyundai talked a good game but it the end they did nothing. So I have damage paint on a new car. I have purchased seven new Hyundai in the last ten years. Not a good way to keep a customer

Great SUV with One Flaw

Overall, I really love this car. It has many excellent features and looks great. The interior is functional and well thought out. My only issue is with the battery holding charge. Several times when I attempted to start the car, the battery was dead. Dealer was not helpful in resolving this issue and I had to purchase a battery charger. Based on comments in the Kona Forum, I have turned off several available options, including the Bluelink app, which appears to have resolved the problem.
