O really like this car, it has everything that im looking for and it is 4 cylinder The only thing that I would change it’s that they should make a panoramic roof, it will give a really nice looking to the car.

Cramped interior with big exterior

This is a good car for someone who just needs a small hatchback but wants to look like they own an SUV. It is very bulky, but that somehow does not translate to having much cargo space. The interior (of this particular trim) has random red stripes, and the exterior has a spoiler, but it seems like these features are mostly present so the car owner can feel youthful. Don't get if you have big dogs (or even dogs with long legs). Don't get if anyone who will be sitting in the backseat has long legs. The front seats also feel cramped (and I am only 5'2"). The drive assist features are very distracting, and they are difficult to differentiate from one another, so it's hard to tell when you're being informed of an actual emergency vs. when it's dinging for a reason that doesn't actually require you to look away from the road. For instance, lane assist dings when I am purposefully switching lanes and have my turn signal on. I end up thinking it is an emergency and have swerved because of it when I didn't need to. There are a number of alerts that seem to do this. I would turn them off if I could. Visibility is also low when you have the back seats up. I mentioned this to the dealership, and they suggested I remove the headrests. You're probably wondering why I didn't just remove the whole car? I tried to swap it for something else a day later but was told it would have to be an entirely new sale/nothing I paid would count toward the swap.

Sweetest new ride

Very nice car, looks nice, rides nice. Great on gas. Roomy, and nice level hight to get in and out. Love some of the added perks, of the app on phone to check on car while away. Peace of mind! I love it!

For over a month I was looking at their inventory online, speaking with someone that would answered all my questions and emails and also text messages regarding all the new vehicles they would get in and all that time they were so patient with me. I test drove a few vehicles and made my decision, and then thinking I was going to have to spend hours doing all the paperwork I was shocked how fast it was! It was the shortest new car purchasing experience I ever had.

It's a redesigned vehicle and rides great

The vehicle looks and handles pretty much okay, decide to try Hyundai brand again. My first Hyundai purchase was a Hyundai Accent back in 1984 and it's a was a average ownership experience when Hyundai was new in USA.

smoothest ride ive ever been owned. don't like the auto start and stop because there is no way to turn it off. I like how they resigned the whole car which is a\ drastic improvement over the last years model.

Initial Review

Generally, nice vehicle. If you are used to a high-end vehicle, this may disappoint you. I find the interior cheaply made. I've only had it for a month, so my review may change over time. The warranty is terrific. The dealership was great. Time will tell if I recommend it or would purchase another one.

Bug in the Appleplay system yet to be ironed out.

Other than the phone/texting technical malfunction that occurs regularly I love the car. Dealership is aware other Konas have the same problems and “they’re working on it. May take weeks or months, not sure”. Said it’s software issue and be patient. Hmm. Not what I wanted to hear.

Really like the Kona but very unhappy with the the noise backing up up in the a.m. Very louse scraping squeaking noise. When it's cold out,yellow dashboard lights come on and I just noticed its telling ,me the camera isn't working. It takes a good half hour before lights go off.

Excellent feature packed quality vehicle

This Hyundai Kona is a very good vehicle with tons of great features standard at a good price point. Being the All wheel drive model it handles well and gets very good gas mileage. Comfort is real good and the interior is very futuristic. Using the Hyundai Bluelink on my smart phone to remotely start it and warm it up is a huge plus.
