Great car

Everything has gone right with this vehicle. I have one minor issue, but I'm hoping someday their will be a service bulletin that fixes the hydraulic lifts on the back that get slow in cold weather. Outside of that, a very dependable car.

I love the features but the opening feature often takes me jiggling my pocket with the key, before the door will open. My sunroof has been twice services and I'm awaiting an actuator to address my issue with a shifter malfunction.

Hyundai Kona-above average small SUV

We have driven the Kona for 1.5 years. It is easy to handle, has excellent safety features, and out turbo model has very good pickup. The interior space is very good considering it is a small SUV. The gas mileage is around 25mpg.

Quality SUV

Great fuel mileage, great interior space, quality you can see and feel. Drives very straight and quiet. The only negative thing is it’s a bit slow when taking off from a dead stop.

This is a great SUV, I love owning and driving this car, I love MOST of the new car bells and whistles, some of them are hard to find and use but for the most part it is easy and comfortable and a good ride

I lost my 2024 Hyundai Kona after it was totaled in an accident that was not my fault. It was determined that the truck ran the stop sign and hit us. We were ok with all the safety features it had.

Awful dealership , awful performance

A complete lemon - had issues with it from the moment I drove off the lot , tried to return in literally the next day , the manager and my sales person were horrific . Thank god I leased , I’m obviously returning at the end of the lease and will never set foot at this dealership . At one of my regular maintenance appointments they actually lost my vehicle …. I was there for over 6 hours while they tried to locate my vehicle , the worst dealership ever .

Lovely interior and comfort driving, but awful battery

I really love the size, interior design, and features the Kona provides, however I have had problems with its battery. It's a compact suv with beautiful and comfortable leather seats. My passengers are always sleeping comfortably on the drive. It has a lot of storage place: not just the trunk but the included small shelving unit in the front and the console with the folded in cup holders and removable divider. I like that it has both heated and ventilated seats, and a sports mode. My only complaint is that in the two years I have the Kona, I have had at least 4 battery issues where the Kona would not respond or turn on. I had taken it to the dealership with "nothing is wrong". In the first four months, it already had a recall with the battery wiring that it could explode upon impact. I had to go to the dealership twice for it. It seems that there's an issue with the battery overall. I have to unplug my dash cam (not hardwired) every night as to not have the battery drain. If they can fix the battery issue and I can have my dash cam plugged in 24/7, the Kona would be a 10/10 car vs a 4 or 5/10. Reliability is important that my new car doesn't strand me one day because it wouldn't turn on due to a battery issue.

Love the looks and performance, one mechanical issue

Cool, fun little crossover. A little tight on storage space, and needs more storage compartments up front! Had to have the viscous coupling replaced at 10k miles and apparently that is common with this vehicle. Been great ever since!
