I loved this vehicle ... until I didn't

I took my vehicle in for a complimentary oil change and rodent damage was found under the hood. Apparently, this is a known issue, but the dealership was not interested in helping find a resolution. While courts have found that the soy-based elements in the engine compartment don't necessarily attract rodents, they are softer than typical plastic parts and easier to chew (and thus damage). I loved this vehicle until I found out about all of this; now I am stressed and quite upset that the manufacturer hasn't taken any preventative steps.

only concern are the door locks would highly recommend this vehicle and dealership I have owned many Hyundai vehicles so it was an easy decision when I needed another vehicle. ease of buying was excellent

Overall quality good, was surprised that the horn stop working withing first year and that it was so difficult to locate and fixe. Also gas mileage was not as good as our previous Hyundai Elantra as I expected it would be.

Poor deals hip customer service.

Poor dealership customer service. Still waiting for floor mats that were paid for 6 weeks ago. Once dealer has your money, say goodbye. They are done with you. No calls for updates, nothing. Feels like theft.

Bad experience with dealership

My lease car has been in the dealership service center since October 24, 2023. Today is November 14. They don't know how to fix the keyless entry. They won't tell me when it will be fixed or when I will get the car back.

there are better ones with the same price point

poor customer service from marketing all the way to service, buyers remorse, stick to toyota or honda to get your moneys worth, hard to get your car service no walk ins, a simple change oil will take 2-3 months, features are not itemized

A great small car

I like small cars. The Kona is nicely powered while running on regular gas and very agile. I'm retired and usually drive alone or with a single passenger. The Kona is perfect for that. Getting 3 adults to the airport with luggage would be very tight, 4 would be impossible.

Looks above average

Looks and performance and quality are above average for my 2023 Kona Limited. Ride is comfortable and quiet. This Kona is a pleasure to drive. Is styled. not boxy looking. Cargo capacity is not big but I fit two suitcases lying on their side plus a smaller suitcase in the back. The back is more styled and less boxy in the back which I like.

Dealer said my payments would remain the same. He lied and then said Bank would refinance it since I had good credit. Another lie.

The car is cute but way too small and not big enough to even do road trips. No room in the trunk and can't take a back seats out to make room for anything. Dealer will lie and say the new payments will remain the same but then they tack on over $5000.00 in Fees and Intrest rates. Bank won't refinance it and warned about being ripped off my dealer.

Great car

The KONA is a well-built car with great value. I think for 2023, the SUV really looks like an SUV and with AWD, is great in the winter. The IVT transmission is the best one I have ever owned. Good job Hyundai for the quality you put into your cars.

The purchasing process was a little lengthy and so was the trade in process. when it came down to signing papers this process was easy. The dealership helped with transferring all that was in my trade car. And all in all it was a smooth transition.

recall help was quick

Recalled Tucson could not remain in the garage with a 100 other cars, unacceptable $ risk . So I would have though Hyundai would be a little more generous and provide assitance tot hose who could not continue to own their purchase.

2023 Kona more cons than pros

Good driving car when the Transmission isn't hesitating. Great gas mileage, nice sound system. Engine ticking nose is very annoying. There is no room so dont buy if you have growing kids or big fam.

Excellent Car!

I love my 2023 Kona. It’s an excellent car with good gas mileage and surprisingly good pickup despite it being a 4-cylinder engine (just put it in sport mode when needed!). I’m very happy with my purchase, and have recommended the car and Hyundai to my friends and colleagues.

Kona is a nice little SUV

This vehicle could be so much better if the things that are standard in my 2015 Subaru were included on it. At 500 miles my lift gate started to release on it’s own I had it in the shop four times and the last time was four 8+ days before it was supposed to be fixed

I have enjoyed owning the car and it is easy to handle.

The vehicle is a good small size and easy to drive. I like the navigation system and phone access. I wanted a smaller SUV and this is perfect. The car handles great on the street roads and freeways. I like the turbo when entering the freeway for it's extra power to enter safely.

So far, so good. I've only owned this vehicle for a little over a month, but so far I am very satisfied with the performance.

Because I've only owned this vehicle a little over a month, it's too soon to know absolutely everything about it, but so far I am very pleased with this vehicle. One disappointment was the vehicle did not come with floor mats.

Love this Smaller SUV

Drives like a car. All the bells & whistles of the Tucson in a smaller, less expensive package. It has great excelleration and really moves on the freeway. The interior is comfortable. It comes with a fantastic warranty.

Great Vehicle with excellent fuel economy!

The 2023 Hyundai Kona Sel model is well built and very reliable. Fuel economy is excellent! The only con about this vehicle is that the trunk storage space is small. But, the price and value of purchasing this vehicle is excellent!
