The horn never works

The car is very nice but the horn never worked when I purchased the vehicle and then they replaced it and 2 months later it stopped working again. They replaced it again so we’ll see what happens . Also my thermostat went after 18 months .

So far I have a lot of love for this car. I will say that some of the safety features can be a little mislead with different road markings. Which can make it kind of annoying especially on longer drives. Overall I recommend this car and think it works great.

2023 Kona Review

Overall, my Kona has been reliable with very minimal issues. The safety features are nice and the car gets great gas mileage. The few complaints I have are with the breaks, backup camera and auto start. The breaks have squealed loudly since day 1 anytime the are exposed to the slightest amount of moisture. The backup camera has far too long of a delay when switching from reverse to drive. I often have to put the car in park, then drive to get the screen off of the backup camera so I can see google maps. Autostart occasionally acts weird - it will randomly stop working. When this happens the car holds a high rev and starts/breaks harder than normal even though the drive mode is still in normal or smart. I asked the dealership to look at issue and there was nothing they could identify. There is no consistency as to when it happens that I've noticed. Lastly, the front seat belts do not adjust low enough for a shorter person like myself.

Excellent on gas, smooth drive, plenty of room.

Excellent vehicle, spacious for a smaller suv. Trunk is spacious and seats fold down for extra room. Drives well, haven't experienced any issues.

Wonder experience love my car

I love change change change lane on mirrors, love I can connect my Apple phone and the rear view sensor letting me know when I’m pulling out of a spot somebody’s coming up by me

Good car, poor mileage

We've leased our 2023 Hyundai Kona SEL since August 2023 and have been very pleased with it. Two minor issues, the doors don't always close completely so be sure and give them a solid slam. And the mileage we are averaging is around 22 mpg which seems quite poor for a small car.

Reviewed with Low Mileage

My 2023 Hyundai Kona with 12,000 miles has been great so far. I added leather which I enjoy. I had to add the leather because I could not get it without the inclusion of a sunroof which I did not want. The only thing I would change if I could is to permanently turn off the auto-feature wherein the car turns off at stoplights. It seems to put wear and tear on the ignition and I don’t like that feature.
