First New Car
After spending over a year researching different vehicles, I knew that I wanted a compact SUV. Most important to me were included technology and safety features. The Hyundai Kona checked all the boxes! As a larger person, I was amazed by the head space and comfort that I felt behind the wheel!! More importantly, this Kona is just fun to drive. Excellent ride quality, low ride noise, and features like lane keeping assist and intelligent cruise control make long distance drives fly by!! The dual clutch 8 speed transmission is sluggish at very low speeds, but extremely responsive at all other times. The 1.6 Turbo 4 Cylinder engine generates 170 HP, and is amazingly responsive when needed for that extra boost of power to quickly make a pass on a 2 lane highway! Most importantly, Hyundai wrapped this whole package at a price point and with a warranty that the other manufacturers simply couldn't touch! I LOVE my Kona!!
