Kona

Love the car. The ride and feel of this car is incredible considering I've owned a Honda vehicle for the last 35 or so years and this vehicle feel and drive coupled with the price is equal to and very similar to the Honda's I've owned.

2021 KONA ULTIMATE: My best car, ever

So, I used to think that my 2013 Boston Red Veloster was my best car ever, and my heart was broken when it was rear-ended and totalled (thankfully, no injuries)...however, given the pothole situation in eastern Massachusetts, and the low ride of the Veloster, I decided to go up, literally, to a higher-sitting Kona as a replacement. Really, really liked the 2018 Kona, but I played it economical, with the standard trim. Given the way drivers started conducting themselves on the roads during the start of the pandemic (No cars! Let's drive 90 mph regardless of speed limits!!), I started feeling that not having some of the driver assists available in the higher level trims would not only be nice but would make me feel safer. And...with my very lovely albeit conservative Thunder Gray car, I did find myself lusting after the Surf Blue that occasionally popped up in my line of sight. So...with not a lot of miles on my 2018 Kona, I just noodled the idea of a trade-in for a newer Kona with my very favorite McGovern Hyundai sales guy, Colson Pierre. And - wham! - I found myself in a Surf Blue 2021 Kona Ultimate. How much do I love this car? I LOVE this car. It has all the bells and whistles one could want, the safety features are terrific, the Turbo engine is sweet, and the color is a head-turner! I still find myself looking at Velosters that pass me, but with AWD and the ability to drive over potholes that would formerly have knocked my teeth out, I am ecstatically happy with the Ultimate Kona! Perfect size (still fits into compact spots); super comfortable to drive; good on gas; and FUN!

Great little suv

I just cant say it all, this car has it all for a compact suv. Ride is excellent , Power more than enough, Comfort is outstanding, I could drive this car all day long ! The dealership was super great !

Great choice

All good - styling, performance, interior. Transmission is a bit erratic in normal mode, much better in SPORT mode. Pulls really well from a standing start. Decent handling - quite precise for an 'SUV' type. Good turning circle - nice and tight.

2021 Kona Limited...

Great car... Well built... Small on the outside and surprisingly roomy on the inside with enough rear storage... Very good road feel for it's size... wide stance and solid ride at highway speeds... Comfortably seating and ride... Great gas mileage with long range fuel tank... More accessories than you probably need... Just a great fun car all around...

small suv with lots to offer

never expected the quality and dependability of this car! it has awesome features esp. I’m loving the apple play. I didn’t have to buy the gps extras cause apple play feature makes it all convenient for the driver! It really is a superb car and besides, I’m always a Hyundai fan.

High end features. Good value for money.

Useful features like power adjustable driver seat, touchscreen dashboard, lane sensor, collision detection, Rearview camera, etc.. coupled with high safety ratings and 10 yr manufacturers warranty makes this a good mini SUV for daily use in affordable budget.

My favorite vehicle

This is my first Hyundai. I'm 63 and was driving a 2019 Mazda CX-5 and wanted to lower my payments and get something smaller. I had seen Kona's on the road and liked the looks of them. I went and test drove a SEL PLUS and fell in love with it. Very comfortable, roomy in the front. plenty of power with the 2.0 liter engine. Fun to drive and great driving dynamics. Great gas mileage. Very comfortable and very bolstered seats with lumbar that feels great on my bad back. I don't really have any real complaints. Best warranty in the business. Fit and finish of the vehicle is flawless.Hyundai has come a long way. I highly recommend checking the Kona out. You will love it!

My Kona

When I test drove the Kona, I fell in love with it immediately. It handles beautifully and looks great. This is the first time I've had All Wheel Drive, and I was impressed with the difference it made. It's easy for me to get in and out of, and I love the push button start. The only thing I'm not happy with is the back up camera when it's dark. It's grainy/ fuzzy if there is no light on it. In short, I love my Kona!

Reign’s Review

The Kona Night Edition I purchased exceeded the standards that I expected from a crossover. I liked this car because of its high safety rating and it’s true to its reputation. We got rear ended Andy father-in-law (who was a fireman) and the body shop personnel were amazed that the damages should have been worst based on the impact. It’s drives and handles smoothly and it’s a fast little crossover. Two things I would recommend is for the car to have a bigger console for storage, USB in the back, and most importantly improve its aerodynamics. When you drive over 60mph, you can hear the wind loudly inside the vehicle. Other that the things I mentioned, I simply love this car!

Over all we are very pleased with the vehicles we purchased thru Hyundai. We also purchased a Hyundai Venue as well. And before we had a Hyundai Tucson. Over all no complaints on the new purchased vehicles.

LOVE love love this car!!!

It is fun and sporty to drive. Drives like a sports car! For the price, the Kona Ultimate model proviides all the desired features including Navigation and Bluetooth. It provides a very comfortable ride and has all the new safety features I was looking for. Hyundai also has a very good reputation for reliability.

Great little SUV

I definitely recommend the Kona, it is fun to drive, gets good gas mileage and is a good looking vehicle. This is my second Hyundai and when the time comes, Hyundai will be my first choice. I never felt pressured when buying either vehicle and that is a huge plus. I also like that the service department is open on Saturday's and enjoy a complimentary car wash when I go.
