Car idles rough.

Car idles rough when ac on high, or high loads like radiator fan on. Embarrassing to have passengers in new car. Dealer agrees car is rough but can not seem to fix. AC compressor was replaced with no change. If AC is turned off idle is smooth. In sport mode the higher idle speed helps.

Love my car

My first brand new vehicle I bought all on my own❤️ It was during the pandemic so I did everything on my phone and they delivered it to me that evening and that was 1 year ago this month and I still love it.

We like this in many ways but it has room limitations and a great deal of cheaper finishes were used. The performance for a 4 cylinder car is good and the assistive devices onboard are very helpful in daily driving.

Great little car

I have had my Kona for over two years without any issues. It performs well in traffic as well as out on the open road. I live in the mountains and it handles the snow with ease. It’s a great little car that’s fun to drive.

Love My Kona

Best car I ever owned. Has an eye catching sporty look. The gas mileage is phenomenal. It is super reliable...a complete departure from all the problems I had with my Volkswagen. The safety features are great and make driving easy. I got a great deal on a great car with standard features that would cost a fortune on any comparable model from another manufacturer.

Reliable and efficient.

My Kona is my third Hyundai car and I love it. I've never had an issue and I know I can count on my car for performance and reliability in any type of weather. It has quick pick up when needed and easy maneuverability. It is on the smaller side but handles well at any speed.

2020 Kona recall

We are extremely happy with our 2020 Kona right up to and even after receiving the recall notice. Any disappointment comes from the resolution of the engine proble. I think they were slow in rectifying the issues.

This is a great little subcompact SUV. the seating front and back is surprisingly roomy, but that cargo space does suffers. Features are best you can get for value and the warranty. So far I am happy with my purchase.

Great running and overall performance - one technical problem that could not be solved the first time was the cause for a less than five start response

Overall a good looking and well performing vehicle - fun to drive and gets excellent mileage, especially on the highway. The technological features are wonderful and make the overall driving experience delightful. The staff at the dealership was exceptional, both sales staff, but most importantly the service department.

Nice and modern style car, easy to drive

For the price the car is much better than any competition in the same type. Beatiful shape, small but still comfortable, modern, easy to drive. All systems work fine, no drive back to the dealer for anu repair so far. Thanks, Hyundai. You made a beautiful and useful car.

Engine Problems

The car has horrible engine problems do not purchase. I bought the car brand new and not even a year later the car started to give me issues. The Check engine light came on and I was told the timing belt was messed up. At the end of it all it needed a new engine. It was under warranty though.

Cabin very noisy, manual nor very to understand (could not find what kind of gas to use), confusing display (two formats of time not being equal). Daylight savings time changed a day early.

Noisy cabin is very irritating. Gas paddle not properly placed. Cooling is slow and not adequate. Many other shortcomings. Hyundai needs to hire American engineers to make it compatible to our liking.

Great car....great features..good technology good warrant second DC Kona leased....good value ultimate package gives you everything you need.....could use a heated steering wheel...however.....and dual power seats.

Recalled and electrical problems.

This car was good for a few months. Had all types of electrical issue and dealer had for 3 months and could not fix or replace. Customer service from Burdick Hyundai was horrible. This is a garbage vehicle that has been recalled with no fix.

Recall on engine car becomes bombshell

Loved car at first until the recall came out. As I read up on it I learned the car could just stop running on highway and could even catch on fire killing me or anyone I care about. I also learned the same engines were going into their new cars as they know of problems and yet continue to sell. Very dissatisfied! Lost money on this bombshell

not bad for an underpowered car

Some genius took Satellite radio out of the Kona. That with it's being underpowered is the only criticism I can think of. You guys have too many surveys. LIsten more to your dealer staff and less to some boardroom pencil neck

Kona Is King!

Absolutely a great vehicle. From suspension to acceleration to brakes! Fun to drive. Spacious interior and lots of cargo space. Visibility is outstanding. No blind spots to worry about. Nothing is lacking in this vehicle.

More than happy with Kona

health care provider. I drive many miles weekly on South Florida roads to our clinics. Reliable, safe, economical vehicle - 2020 Kona. Love the head-up display when in heavy traffic or finding my way to a secluded beach with my 2 big dogs. First two years with this vehicle have been great. Recommend purchase.

I love this car. I only wish it had towing capacity and front pedestrian warning. I think higher prices models may have these features. The trunk capacity is small, but I knew that before I bought it.

Happy with my Kona

I bought this because it’s all wheel drive I also bought it because I liked the black exterior trim I just wish it came in a manual transmission because I prefer a stick shift— And I can’t believe I have to add 22 more characters to satisfy this very lengthy and time consuming review
