My Kona - 2020

2 years now… car is very reliable. No major issues. Wife likes driving it. Fuel efficient… Dealer is taking care if the PMS. Driving comfort is at 10. Leg room is just right for my wife. We love the car! ?

My KONA

My KONA is a great little vehicle. It gets great gas mileage 34 to 36 mpg around town & 42+ on the highway. It rides & handles good for a small vehicle, It's performance is great I have the 1.6ltr turbo motor. Great gas mileage & performance what more would you want.

Engine Issues

Love the two Konas we have in general. But both Kona engines consume oil to the point where, if not monitored, it will go off the bottom of the dipstick between oil changes (approx 5k miles). These engines have issues! The insulting part is Hyundai Dealer tells us this is "normal" and was designed that way. Really? Hyundai designed an engine to make tapping noises and consume oil? This is bogus and disappointing.

My first new car, absolutely loved it. Sold on Kona's from here on out

It hits such a wonderful sweet spot of price and usability. It's got great zip on the highway, and I loved the hud glass pane behind the steering wheel. I am also not terribly mechanically inclined so it was great that the car could remind me to take it in when needed.

Love the car, wouldn’t recommend until theft problem is solved

See you tube, how the steal a Hyundai Kona, very disappointed that I contacted Hyundai with no response after my car was broken into and it cost me approx $1,000 to fix and rent a car and I still don’t feel comfortable parking it anywhere now

see all my comments...........the engine stalled, and caused a crash into a parking lot pole.the car only had aprx 3850 miles on it, after driving for aprx one year.............hyundai would not even go to the parking lot, to see that there was NO WAY i could have been driving fast, as i was in the parking SPACE, ready to exit the car within seconds, when the engine stalled. hyundai does acknowledge that kona's are having that type of problem, i think the kon'a electric cars already had a billion dollar lawsuit against them. well, my kon'a apparently had the same problem, but nothing was done to help me. all i asked was for hyundai to buy my car back, and they wouldn't even do that.

I love Hyundai vehicles. I have driven a Hyundai vehicle for over 20 years.

I find that Hyundai products are reliable and the design is practical. Price point is another great feature of the Hyundai line of vehicles. The dealership where I purchase/lease is another factor of why and where I purchase. The service is spectacular and they provide great customer service.

This is a great car

Small package, big performance, great ride, top quality. This feels like a much more expensive automobile, but I have my doubts that paying more could possibly make a competitor a better automobile. Everything works, everything looks good, everything feels good, it is a joy to drive.

Too tired of this survey

The hyundai kona is a unique sub compact car if we have a name is gem. The Hyundai kona is perfect in every detail color power engine the only fact is w dct transmission you need to learn how drive after that is a car for life

Fun to drive

I loved the look of this car and did quite a bit of research on it. Loved the size, trim, simplicity of use and comfort. Plus it is fun to drive! Love everything about this car… very sporty feel and the bright green color is easy to see. I can find it in large parking lots at a glance. Lots of complements too!

Great vehicle

Car runs great. Glad I purchased it. Small backseat area but all other areas are excellent which include the sunroof and heated seats. Sound system is great. Turbo for extra pickup on the highway. All around great vehicle

This is my 3rd Hyundai, overall satisfied with performance of this brand. Pricing played big part in decision to purchase, reasonable price for dependable vehicle. Only thing missing were power seats, this should be standard in all vehicles.

Great little performer

The horsepower of the vehicle's engine is sufficient particularly when using the six speed transmission sport shift. Fuel economy is superb. Sounds system is ideal. Lighting for night driving great. I love this car. The steering assist is a real treat and provides a level of safety unsurpassed by any vehicle I have owned in the past. That if to say this is the best car I have ever owned.

Engine Oil Issues

This vehicle was TOTALLY fine until we received a recall notice. Once we had it serviced, it has never been the same and CONSTANTLY EATS OIL. I am dissatisfied with the level of service received and would like the dealership to correct the issue.

I LOVE THIS KONA MORE and MORE EACH DAY

I'm 6'5' tall and I'm coming from a really large V8 Car, and I was concerned about comfort and headroom. I have more room in the Kona then my other car. This is really powerful too at 1.6L Turbo model. Gas Mileage is INCREDIBLE! Sports mode is a thrill to drive and shifts like a high end sports car, and I love the steering wheel tightness in sports mode. The Kona is seriously fast too, with responsive pickup. The inside Headroom for a 6'4" tall driver is fantastic. Heads up display is worth everything if you get this option. Super comfortable on long drives. The built in navigation screen is bright and perfect for the dash design. I love the display options while driving, and is way better then anything I've had before. The lane assist and blind spot warnings is wild, and the auto braking in emergency is outstanding, Ive had people step in front of my car in the city not looking, and the Kona just breaks instantly for me with an alarm - worth everything. The bluetooth interface is easy to use with my phone, and the hands free text option of the display are amazing. This is the most exciting auto I have ever purchased. I tell my family and friends on a daily basis how much I love the Kona.

KENSTAR service Fast and Reliable
