I like the color and gas mileage but the cargo space is too small. I get a lot of compliments too...I was hoping that I would of gotten more for my trade in a Santa Fe since I had bought the Santa Fe at the same place I bought the Kona. I was not happy with that.

Why the Kona is a great vehicle

They both fit me and my wife well. Bought the first one in December. My Wife liked it so much we got one for her too. Great handling, good fuel economy and easy to get in and out of. Integrated technology works really well especially the infotainment system.

2018 KONA REVIEW

i have had this car for seven months and I drive it every where i go. it is fun to drive and very comfortable. I like the features in the package that I purchase and the exterior styling gives the vehicle a fun look and feel.

Excellent mid size vehicle

I have only purchased cars before, but I am enjoying my Kona. The size is right for my family and easy for me to maneuver. I have only had the vehicle for five months, but I look forward to having it many years into the future. I love all the features that came on the vehicle as well.

Fun to drive and comfortable

Compared to my last car. A Honda hrv. My kona seems much more reliable and more fun to drive. And gets better gas mileage than my Honda hrv. Not to mention the great warranty. Would definitely recommend.

Awesome Crossover, Poor Leg-Room in Back Seats

I love my Kona and I’ve gotten lots of questions and comments from others (ranging from it looks like a Porsche to it’s a really cool looking car). The biggest downside is the lack of any real legroom in the back seat. It’s very comfortable I’m the front seat, the tech package with heated seats and sunroof was exactly what I wanted, and the lane assist and back up cameras have saved me more than once from a blind-spot wreck. The trunk button on the FOB does not actually pop the trunk, though... it only unlocks it (according to the service department). This is my 4th brand new Hyundai, and (asceith my first 3) I’ve had no real complaints.

Military best choice

I would recommend for military purposes, as a military member I do love the all wheel drive.i just wish that it could have more muscle into it , and to have a CD player with mp3 , more 12 volt outlet in the rear, digital climax control , GPS as standard, and wifi as well.

Perfect mini SUV

The "car" is great to drive in normal conditions. It really shines in not so great conditions. I purchased the AWD non turbo package. We had a blizzard in Feb. This car was a beast in the snow. It wont pull anyone else out, but it takes a lot to get this thing stuck.

MY SPECIAL KONA

I love my new Kona. I was so excited to drive it home. I told my co-workers, family and friends about my KONA. I showed it to everyone. All were impressed by the sporty appearance of the car. I love the Thunder Gray color. It shimmers in the sunlight. This vehicle drives so well. It turns on a dime. I am so glad I have lane change assist and blind spot notification. I renewed the Siruis radio that came with the car after three months. I love it!!!! The traction assist on wet streets is great also. Thank you so much for making such a wonderful car model. Great car

Meets and exceeds my expectations !! After owning PT Cruiser for 15 years, I was skeptical about buying new car. Took approximately 5 months to try out different new vehicles. Finally purchased new Kona, and very happy customer. .

It's a great car

The Kona is a great car and a pleasure to drive. I'm so happy with it. The business part of getting the car was not bad. The dealership is great. It's very economical to drive. The maintenance department makes upkeep very simple to do.

I was slightly concerned about purchasing a car in its initial year, but after driving it for 5 months I continue to love driving this car. It is fuel efficient and drives nicely. I love the turn radius too.

Love my car!

I researched for months before deciding on this Kona. I love the size and the get up and go, even for a smaller SUV. It gets amazing gas mileage and have not had one bit of trouble with all this Chicago snow!

LOVE my Kona!

This vehicle is perfect for me! It has plenty of room and I love that I sit up higher and can see the road and what is ahead of me. The sleek lines make people take notice! For a while, I was the only Surf Blue Kona on the road and I loved it! The Kona handles nicely in all kinds of weather so I feel safe behind the wheel. If you want a crossover that is fun and safe, the Kona is for you!

Awesome on the road

I love my Kona! It's a classy looking vehicle, great on mileage and city streets. Good interior features and quite comfortable. I don't see many on the road; not sure why, but I noticed my car gets a lot of attention as people stare to figure out what it is - it's just a nice looking SUV. My daily commute to work and back home averages 30 miles a day, however traffic is no longer such a stressful experience due to the comforts of my Kona.

Nice car for the money spent

Really like the car. Drives nice and smooth. Hope someday soon I will be able to get a valet key made. (NO blanks available yet.) I might not have bought it if I had known ahead of time. Would only change the interior height and the back windshield and wiper design. Will definitely consider another Hyundai for my next vehicle.

I bought a brand new Kona in 2018, when they first were available. I have the ultimate and it’s everything I expected. The 1.6 turbo is peppy and I enjoy the blind spot warning system I have a few complaints, but it has nothing to do with the car itself. I am an old timer so I missed the CD player seeing as I have close to 1000 CDs and it really isn’t practical to download them all onto my smart phone. Also I wish the American models had ventilated seats like the European ones do. The navigation system map is only of the United States. I do make trips to Canada so I wish they would’ve had Canadian maps also. Just about everything can be set for automatic including the rear window wiper. The automatic rear window wiper works only in reverse, that I might’ve changed.
