Being a first time car buyer, I love it

I will never ever buy another gas engine car a again. I do not miss going to these gas stations anymore. By hooking up a 220 volt line it's very easy and fast to charge my vehicle. The miles that I get is overwhelming by what they quoted on the sticker price. Can't get a car no better in this if you want a electric car. Thank you Hyundai for your great workmanship.

Kona EV is wonderful!

Had it a year, 7000 miles. No gas, no pollution, good range, no complaints at all. Plus it's adorable. Ride is great, getting in and out easy. Storage good, with neat little grippers to hold stuff in place. Voice system is excellent. Only reason reliability is 9 is I've only had it a year.

Great vehicle, but the starter battery issue is a killer

This is a great car -- great range, great handling, super responsive. But the fact that Hyundai either won't or can't address the starter battery issue is the main reason I'm giving this car a three-star. Every 4-6 months, the car will just be dead -- and we've been very conscientious about turning EVERYTHING off before we exit the car, not leaving car doors open or the trunk open for long periods of time, basically anything that could drain the battery when the ignition is off. But the battery just drains. And then we take it into the Hyundai dealer, they keep it for a day, then say "Nope. Car is fine!" Then 4-6 months later, same thing happens. I've stopped bringing it into the dealer because it's just too frustrating. So I just make sure I have a portable charger in my car. Yeah, not ideal. So if you're looking for a dependable car, look elsewhere, because this car will just conk out for no discernible reason.

Great car for in town and maybe even short road trips. Very snappy and very good updates over the air. Local dealership service was excellent. Car drives easy with very good safety features. Audio system is also good.

Good value for the price you paid

Great electric vehicle super fast. Good quality fun to drive enjoying it immensely. Our range is actually 310 miles even though it’s supposed to be 258 this is a plus. If the radio worked better on SiriusXM, then this would be 100% satisfactory.

Got Kona EV. Nice small car. Good handling & quiet

Got a Kona EV. Looked for a smaller car to drive around town for errands. Quiet (except for road noise), good handling, nice acceleration. Little higher off the ground than a sedan. Easy to get in and out. Just plug in at night to recharge.

Such a great little car

I have an SE and it is a great little car with a decent sticker price. The battery on this car has a long life as well. Trunk is a little on the small size but still very workable. Enjoying it thoroughly.

Lots of modern features, peppy, easy to drive electric

This car is fun to drive, comfortable, and easy to operate. Unlike most electrics, you don't have to do a whole bunch of high-tech touch screen interactions to get the car to work -- the basic buttons we all use, like climate, lights, sound system, seat controls -- are there. You CAN use the screen but you don't HAVE to. That's nice for older drivers like me so I don't have to learn a whole new system. The charging is easy - just plug it into your garage's 3-prong 110V outlet and it will slow charge, you can top off normal around-town driving consumption overnight, no problem.

Hyundai is a company sucks

I hate this car because it's still not being repaired and also nobody at the dealership carriage although it's gonna get fixed or not. Overall I should have built a better car most of People I met over the internet with a similar issue are saying the same things and apparently Hyundai just doesn't care about their customers so won't ever be recommending it to any one I know

Kona Electric great so far but bad road noise

Replaced a 2005 Elantra, that we loved, with this car. Cabin size about the the same, but behind back seat storage much less. The Kona is comfortable to drive, and the 285 mile range allows us to go almost anyplace we normally go with no need to charge until we return home. With Solar on the house, lots of sun, and level 2 charge station, our cost to drive 120 miles was $0.60. The only issue is road noise is very bad, much worse than the Elantra and my pickup truck.

I have not owned or driven the Kona long enough to fully explore or understand all of its features but it appears to be an excellent vehicle. I will attempt to read and understand the lengthy owner's manual as I use the vehicle over time and utilize the numerous features.

Great small car

Small SUV type car with room, power and responsiveness. Interior is roomy and sigh the seats down there is good space when I need to carry larger items. Only issue so far is that there is only one size USB port and my iPhone 14 plug in cord the smaller port size

Highly satisfied buyer

My first electric. Bought about a month ago. Over this period, the range has exceeded my expectations. Puts me in control of the experience with the Eco mode for range and Sport mode for insane acceleration. Practical buy for me as a single driver mostly for work commute.

Best Hatchback Ever!!!

We love the car... How it drives, the ease of charging, the style, it's a true hatchback compared to other pseudo-hatchback type fastbacks. The infotainment center is excellent and useful over other cars we drove that to use the infotainment center was more of a hindrance and needed to pull over to use safely. Overall extremely satisfied with the car and our salesman King who made the experience wonderful.

We love this Kona EV. Making shift to the technology took half a day? No time at all. It picks up and goes! Easy to handle. The vehicle saved us as the price of gasoline had just about ruined us.

Electric Kona is Amazing!

Honestly, I cannot imagine a better value. The electric Kona Limited has a crazy-cute body style, with beautiful paint. I love the front bumper/lighting styling. The interior is also top-notch, with carefully crafted, comfortable, adjustable seating and steering. The console and armrest areas and cup holders, are very usable and comfortable. Everything about the car feels snugly put-together and well thought out. I went straight from a gas-powered vehicle with a sport package to this car, and I was slightly concerned this vehicle would not meet my need for performance driving. Not true! I put the Kona in sport mode every time I get in, and it is FUN. It has paddle "shifters" for using the regenerative braking. These do not have to be engaged at all, but they add greatly to the fun of driving the Kona. The torque you get out of this car is really unbelievable. When you want to beat someone out of the gate, no matter what they're driving, if it's not electric, they are still stuck with the transmission shifting, and you're just goooiiinnnnggggg. It's fun. I have not had an issue with charging since I figured out when and where to do it. I plug in with the provided charger every few days, and fill it up to the hilt when I'm traveling, and it's just not an issue. And, honestly, I really enjoy driving right past the gas pumps I used to frequent. Extremely happy with this purchase!!!!

He great car

I bought a electric kono, great car and enjoyable. Great design and actually berthing you want in it. Certain things one must get use to and how to operate it I recommend this to any one , it’s not cheap design or feel.
