Not reliable enough

I am beginning to feel concern about the quality of Ioniq. In less than 4 months, the HVAC acentuator was spoilt. It's too early for such high hyped and pricey vehicle. There is a remove to improve. The dash screen is too far from driver reach and the below button is also far from reaching when driving. The back view camera is too way up and the wiper can not clean the camera because of its location.

Perfect Slick Car

I love this car. The color is great and it drives smoothly. Very quiet, yet extremely fast. I only had for about 2 months, but I think it is over performing that what I expected. Lots of compliments from people. I love the way I can set the climate before I get out of work. While outside is very hot, my car already cools down the temperature inside!

The Ultimate Dog-Friendly Electric SUV

I've been really impressed with my Hyundai Ioniq 9. One of my favorite features is the incredible range—getting close to **400 miles on a full charge** gives me the confidence to take longer trips without constantly worrying about charging. The whole purpose of purchasing the Ioniq 9 was for my dogs. I wanted a safe, spacious, and comfortable vehicle where they could enjoy every trip with me, and it has been perfect for that. The interior is incredibly roomy, giving my dogs plenty of space to stretch out and relax. They absolutely love riding in it, and every trip has become more enjoyable for all of us. I've already removed the second-row seats and built a custom deck for my dogs, creating a large, flat, and comfortable space where they can safely rest during road trips. The Ioniq 9's spacious interior made it the perfect vehicle for this setup. After installing a new set of tires, the ride became even smoother. It's quiet, comfortable, and a pleasure to drive on both city streets and the highway. Overall, the Ioniq 9 has exceeded my expectations with its impressive 400-mile range, smooth ride, spacious cabin, and versatility. It isn't just an electric SUV for me—it's the perfect adventure vehicle for my dogs and me, and I couldn't be happier with my decision.

Excellent car

Great car, definitely a few gripes. The fob is bulky and pretty ugly. Having walk away locking would be great. Seems like it would be an easy feature to add. Lane assist seems to move left and right a bit. No big qualms though.

The car I love is fun to drive. It’s comfortable just everything about it. My insurance didn’t go up when I got this particular vehicle ionic nine because of the same features so I’m really happy with that but corporate sucks. They owe me money and they don’t wanna pay it and I keep fighting with them more. I just gave up that’s what they wanted so anyway thank you

Horribly made

Had nothing but problems with this car from the get go.. between the sun roof.. the seatbelts and the tires I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Got rid of my Cadillac Escalade and got the Ionic 9. Love it!

Got rid of my premium gas guzzling Escalade ESV. Love driving my fully electric Ionic 9. Finishes quite similar. Acceleration and handling are amazing. Love the driver assist and lane safety features. Had to charge once in Manhattan. Plenty of room at a quick charging station. 100% charge in 20 mins cost $15. Range at 100% is 450 miles.

Great size, still not a Tesla

The Ioniq 9 is the only Hyundai I’ve owned, but still pales in comparison to the technology and infotainment features of my 2017 Tesla X. The car does what it should, has great size, smooth riding and driving, but as an experienced EV owner, it could use some study of the competition.

Very annoying tire noise. Otherwise 10 Star vehicle

This is a great vehicle that I could not ask for more. It's got the power, comfort, convenience, and nothing more I could ask. I love this car over Range Rover sports I drove some time ago. However, one issue is that there is a tire noise or some sort of noise coming from the wheels. I have Ioniq 5 and I don't hear this at all. Even my Tesla I traded for Ioniq 5 after 4 months of ownership didn't had this tire noise. Dealer did a full inspection, but didn't find anything wrong. If it was a gasoline car, it is equivalent to a wheel baring sound I had on my Toyota about 20 year ago. It is very bothersome. Otherwise, this is a truly a great car ever! Just fix the styling for the back part......

I really enjoy driving the Ionic 9. The windshield is large and allows for me to see more as I am driving. The frame of the vehicle does not create blind spots. The angle of the windshield is closer to 90 degrees which makes the view more open for me.

Would be a hard decision to make again, if the vehicle did not try to control everything and has headrests that that did not hurt my wife's neck. Already tired of it telling me I need a coffee break every 10-miles., especially on longer drives. Amazing interior room for the vehicle size, but wish the back seat was rated for three, as most likely it would be used for smaller people.

Overall good vehicle

We bought this car to replace my Rav4 as I am pregnant with our second child and wanted the ability to have 2 car seats AND a usable third row for when grandparents visit. This car meets that need exactly, and it is zippy and a nice experience to drive. My only complaint is regarding the infotainment system.

Exceptional EV with Room for Software Improvements

Overall, I have been extremely pleased with my Hyundai Ioniq 9. It offers a quiet, comfortable ride, a spacious and well-designed interior, and an impressive combination of technology, performance, and range. The vehicle is an excellent choice for both daily driving and long road trips, and I would recommend it to friends and family looking for a premium three-row electric SUV. Most of my feedback centers around the software rather than the vehicle itself. The navigation and split-screen display can be difficult to read, particularly when using the map. Some infotainment functions require more steps than they should, making common tasks less intuitive than expected. I also believe the user interface could benefit from additional customization options to allow drivers to prioritize the information they use most. Fortunately, these concerns appear to be software-related and could potentially be addressed through future over-the-air updates. Mechanically, the vehicle has been excellent, and Hyundai has done an outstanding job with the overall design, comfort, ride quality, and value. Overall, I am very satisfied with my Ioniq 9 and would confidently recommend it. With continued software refinement, it has the potential to be one of the best electric SUVs on the market.
